“IT MUST BE FOUGHT FOR”

To the Editor:

Today, June 6th, we pause to honor those who sacrificed so much for our freedom 75 years ago.   On this date in 1944, the Allied forces, led by Americans, stormed the beaches in Normandy (France), in order to liberate Europe from the Nazi butchers.   It was that supreme sacrifice by a few, that ensured freedom for the many.

Sadly, many in America clearly do not seem to grasp the fragile nature of our freedoms.   In my view, this is so due to inexcusable failures by academia, the media, and of course, parents.   Perhaps the late Pres. Ronald Reagan said it best: “ Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.   We do not pass it on to our children in the bloodstream.   It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”

When we contrast the sacrifices made at Valley Forge, Gettysburg and Normandy et al, with the cowardice and avarice of Nancy-Barry-Valerie-Hillary-Comey and 95 of their closest Democriminals 08-28-08- TODAY, it is now time for Trump and Barr to ARREST THEIR TREASON and Make America Greatful Again.
