Bridgeport Police Officers to Surprise Grocery Shoppers and Unsuspecting Drivers with Thanksgiving Fare

(Nov. 14, 2018) —

WHO:             Bridgeport Police Department and members of the community.

WHAT:          Bridgeport Police and School Resource Officers will surprise grocery shoppers and unsuspecting drivers with Thanksgiving fare by purchasing their groceries and handing out turkeys instead of tickets.  The Bridgeport Police Department will also be holding a Stuff-A-Patrol Car food drive for three days to support up to 250 families in need in the Bridgeport community. To build community relations and collect donations, officers will bag groceries at a local Stop & Shop.
