“RAGE, CONTEMPT AND VIOLENCE”

(Nov. 1, 2018) — As we enter – mercifully – the home stretch of the 2018 midterm general election political campaign, one thing has become crystal clear: we are a nation deeply divided.
The bottom line here is that the Democrats, and in particular their leaders, have taken their cue from Hillary (“that-vile-video-caused-the-deaths-at-our-Benghazi-compound”) Clinton – the Left would call it a “dog whistle” if muttered by a Republican – and abandoned any claim of civility toward the GOP and the vast majority of “normal” Americans.
I use the term “normal” in its generally accepted and customary meaning: not aberrant; not bizarre; not amoral. It is a sad commentary when large numbers of “Americans” who pilloried Candidate Donald Trump for refusing to say that he would support the nominee of his party if it were not him are now hailed by the “mainstream media” for “resisting” President Trump after he was duly elected. Worse, the MSM continues to do everything in its power to undermine and impede President Trump’s efforts to return the United States to its position of respect and power at home and abroad after enduring eight years of intellectual torpor under his predecessor usurper.
From all appearances, the “resistance” will continue into the future.
Many Democrat politicians are now running on platforms slamming their GOP rivals for, among a wide variety of other things, “voting against” protections for persons with “pre-existing conditions.” Quite apart from the fact that most, if not all, of these allegations are false or taken far out of context, the truth is that the reason that Democrats are falling on their swords to generally preserve protections for pre-existing conditions is out of self-interest: preserving and shielding their own sacrosanct pre-existing condition consisting of their hatred for President Trump and those who support him. In its worst form, the hatred extends even to the United States itself. The condition, while not covered by medical insurance, is nonetheless preserved by the mainstream media. Is this a great country, or what?
Diabetes, heart disease and asthma are pre-existing conditions suffered by many persons of all political persuasions. On the other hand, hatred – further laced with rage, contempt and increasingly, violence – has become the pre-existing condition characterizing most, if not all, leftists, socialists and Democrats, but in particular, their leaders and apparatchiks in the press and on electronic platforms.
So, faithful P&E reader, do yourself, your children and their children a favor. Stamp out the pre-existing condition now being defended by the left: vote GOP next week.
