BUT WAS THERE MORE THAN ONE?

by Sharon Rondeau

(May 21, 2018) — In opening the 4:00 p.m. hour of “The Sean Hannity Show” on radio, Hannity said he will support Freedom Caucus member Rep. Jim Jordan for the next Speaker of the House.

Further to the allegations of a “spy” in the Trump campaign, Hannity said that sources are saying that the surveillance which allegedly took place “may be worse than we know.”

“Everything that we’ve reported here and on TV is now being leaked,” Hannity said, quoting from a Politico report today stating that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation received “special status” from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.  That revelation is new and pertains to the August 2, 2017 memorandum written by Rosenstein expanding the scope of the Mueller “Russia” investigation over a May 17, 2017 Appointing Order.

“The authority to pursue matters that are not within the special counsel’s mandate,” Hannity said, is known as “SAUCA,” according to a spokesman for Mueller.  The Politico article reportedly reveals that the investigation expanded to Manafort by the designation of its “special status” by Rosenstein.

Rosenstein is meeting with President Trump this afternoon, along with FBI Director Christopher Wray and DNI Dan Coats, regarding the Justice Department’s refusal to release documents requested by congressional investigators regarding the launching of the “Russia” investigation against the Trump campaign by the FBI.

Hannity also referred to an article published “about an hour ago” by Sara A. Carter about the meeting this afternoon which stressed that FISA warrants used to surveille Trump-campaign adviser Carter Page, as with any FISA applications, must present new information to the court every 90 days to receive approval.

Rosenstein reportedly signed the fourth and final FISA warrant application in June of last year, six months into the Trump administration.

At 4:20 p.m., Carter told Hannity that it appears to her that Rosenstein and Wray have been fighting the release of the requested documents to conceal whether or not they paid one or more informants communicating with members of the Trump campaign in 2016 for information or to plant information.

Carter said that there could have been more than one informant, and conflicting articles reportedly say that the informant based in the UK was paid between $400,000 and approximately $1 million.

At 4:29, Carter said that there was a Department of Defense (DOD) for more than $400,000 which “would only be known through the documents provided through the FISA.”

At 4:30, Hannity asked Rep. Ron DeSantis, also a guest on the program, if Christopher Steele was paid by the FBI to compile the Trump-Russia “dossier.”

DeSantis reminded the audience that he, Reps. Mark Meadows and Jordan asked Trump to declassify the documents they are seeking.
