WHO IS GUILTY OF “COLLUSION?”

by Sharon Rondeau

(Apr. 12, 2018) — On Thursday nights edition of “Hannity,” guest and former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz said that the Justice Department Inspector General’s report on allegations of political bias within the DOJ and FBI relating to the 2016 presidential campaign will be made public in “two weeks.”

Inspector General Michael Horowitz has been investigating the claims since just before Donald Trump took office on January 20, 2017.  His report was originally expected over the winter, then delayed until March, and now estimated, at least by Chaffetz, to be released toward the end of this month.

The much-anticipated report is believed to contain startling revelations of wrongdoing within the DOJ and its subsidiary, the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Chaffetz reinforced the claim that the IG’s report will contain information that many Americans will find unsettling.  Horowitz is said to have discovered thousands of text messages exchanged between FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page demonstrating an anti-Trump bias and a possible “insurance policy” to be invoked were Trump to win the 2016 election.

Strzok had interviewed Hillary Clinton about her private email server in July 2016 and been a key contributor to former FBI director Robert Mueller’s mission to investigate alleged “collusion” between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin and Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election.

On Wednesday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) received confirmation from the FBI that both Strzok and Page have retained their security clearances, giving them access to “top-secret” information despite their appearance of having an animus toward Trump.
