CAN GOD BE FAR AWAY?
by Sharon Rondeau
(Oct. 21, 2017) — For the last month, an array of hues has emerged everywhere, appearing late but staying longer this year amid summery warmth and bright blue skies.
Despite spring’s destructive and rash-inciting gypsy moth caterpillars which devoured the leaves of thousands of trees in New England, autumn’s colors miraculously abound.
We must seize this moment before it vanishes, until next year, and put aside thoughts of the coming winter.
With so much beauty everywhere we look, can God be far away?
