RUSSIAN “DOSSIER,” CLINTON FOUNDATION, “FAKE MEDIA”
by Sharon Rondeau
As then-Secretary of State in 2010, Hillary Clinton presided over the sale of 20% of the U.S.’s uranium supply to Russia.
Indicating that he was viewing the FNC morning show, Fox & Friends, Trump quoted the co-hosts as having said, “Russia sent millions to Clinton Foundation,” which has emerged as a key point in the new story broken by The Hill on Tuesday.
Sara Carter of Circa has also expounded on the story.
The Russian activity was disclosed by an unidentified FBI informant who the Obama regime allegedly prevented from communicating his findings to Congress.
Another Trump tweet referred to Fusion GPS, which produced a compilation of salacious and questionable allegations about Trump and Russia. “Workers of firm involved with the discredited and Fake Dossier take the 5th,” Trump tweeted, recounting that two GPS employees invoked their Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination in a private hearing with the House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday.
Over the last two weeks, Trump has promoted his plan to Congress and the American people for tax cuts and a simplification of the U.S. tax code. On Thursday morning, he opened his Twitter stream with, “Republicans are going for the big Budget approval today, first step toward massive tax cuts. I think we have the votes, but who knows?”
With 52 Republican votes, the Senate has been unpredictable over the last nine months in its support of the president’s agenda, which includes repealing and replacing Obamacare, tax cuts, a leaner federal budget and funding a wall to be built on the U.S.-Mexico border.
On Tuesday, the president and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell held an impromptu press conference in the Rose Garden to announce that they are working together to see that Trump’s tax plan and other initiatives he champions are moved forward in the upper congressional chamber.
In response to Trump’s tweet about the Russian uranium corruption, CBS News’s White House correspondent, Mark Knoller, tweeted:
The Post & Email was unable to locate any recent CBS coverage of the recent Russia/uranium revelationsn, as other outlets have reported. In March, CBS’s Scott Pelley reported that “No credible source alleges that Hillary Clinton was paid by Russia for American uranium.”
