“THE CORE CORRUPTION WAS THE DEMOCRATS THEMSELVES”
by Sharon Rondeau
Stone was standing in for Infowars’ regular host, Alex Jones.
The 17:10-minute interview included discussion about the public narrative that Russian-government operatives “hacked” DNC servers and provided damaging emails to WikiLeaks, assisting Trump to win the White House by their alleged “meddling.”
Russia has denied interfering in the U.S. election, and Obama-regime officials who have testified to Congress on the matter have been vague about the end results of the alleged activity. “They did not change any vote tallies or anything of that sort,” then-DNI James Clapper testified on January 5 to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
In contrast to information provided to the public over the last ten months by the intelligence community through the press, Corsi maintains that the Russians wanted Hillary Clinton and not Trump to win the election, stating that the “Russian” narrative is a “cover-up story” for why Clinton lost.
Touching on the matter of government surveillance, Corsi said that the Obama regime and “the Democrats” were surveilling Trump and his associates during the 2016 presidential campaign. Other sources have recently reported, based on the release of a findings report by the FISA Court, that for at least five years between 2011 and 2016, U.S. intelligence officials routinely violated Americans’ Fourth Amendment protections against illegal search and seizure by unmasking their names and running specific searches under those names.
Increasingly, evidence is pointing to Obama’s last CIA director, John Brennan, as having been the catalyst for the several investigations into alleged Trump/Russia connections, including Brennan’s own sworn testimony to the House Intelligence Committee on May 23.
On April 5, Charles C. Johnson of GotNews.com reported that Brennan “targeted Trump supporters for enhanced surveillance” “between Trump’s election on November 8 and the inauguration in January,” according to his sources.
However, on March 26, Corsi reported that “Project Dragnet” had collected personal information and communications of private citizens between 2004 and 2010, including then-businessman Donald Trump, his children and business associates. Federal judges, including members of the U.S. Supreme Court, were reportedly also surveilled.
Corsi’s new investigation revealed that DNC cybersecurity during the campaign was “lax” and that evidence points to Rich as the party who provided the more than 44,000 DNC emails to WikiLeaks last year.
Corsi believes that Rich “became so disillusioned” with the collusion of DNC officials to assure Clinton the Democrat nomination that he decided to release the emails to WikiLeaks. “Seth Rich remained loyal to his progressive ideals, finding himself at growing odds with Clinton as it became clear to him the DNC had rigged the primaries so Bernie Sanders would lose,” Corsi wrote in Part 1 of his series.
On July 22, 2016, WikiLeaks began publishing the incriminating missives, ten days after Rich was shot near his Washington, DC apartment In the early-morning hours of July 10. The emails showed that DNC leadership obstructed Bernie Sanders from obtaining the presidential nomination despite its public pledge of “neutrality.”
Following the revelations, three high-ranking DNC officials resigned along with chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz just before the DNC’s nominating convention, where many Sanders supporters conducted protests outside.
Various sources have reported that Rich was a Sanders supporter. During the convention, Sanders himself endorsed Clinton despite the evidence that he was denied a fair chance at gaining the nomination.
Then-Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine attempted to suggest that the emails were not authentic, although no other Democrat operative made that claim. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has claimed a 100% accuracy rate in its document releases over the organization’s almost-11-year history.
The Senate and House Intelligence Committees are investigating alleged ties between Russia and the Trump campaign. Earlier this month, the Trump administration announced that former FBI Director Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller, III had been brought in to oversee the FBI’s parallel investigation.
Despite daily mainstream media stories containing innuendo and citing multiple unnamed sources, no evidence has yet been made public that any connections have been identified. Trump has denied the allegations and decried the media’s almost-daily release of claims he calls “fake news.”
When asked, Corsi said that he believes the Trump DOJ should convene a grand jury (13:10) to investigate the origins of the Russian “collusion” narrative. “This is a propaganda attack,” he said. “There’s no proof for it; it’s a link the Democrats are trying to make true by repeating and repeating it.”
Corsi said he recommends expelling the White House press corps, or “mainstream media,” from the White House briefing room and that Trump terminate anyone in his administration loyal to the previous administration. Since before Trump took office on January 20, leaks to left-leaning media such as The New York Times and The Washington Post have persisted which Trump and many others inside and outside of his administration say threatens US national security.
Part 2 of Corsi’s series recaps the involvement of hackers “Guccifer” and “Guccifer 2.0” in hacking Hillary Clinton’s private server while she served as Secretary of State and the DNC server, respectively.
Guccifer 2.0 admitted to hacking the Clinton Foundation’s servers.
Corsi states that Guccifer 2.0 did not extract any emails from the DNC, but rather, obtained opposition research on Donald Trump and Democrat donor lists which Guccifer 2.0 posted on his website.
Early last month, former actress Robbin Young revealed on Twitter that she and Guccifer 2.0 had exchanged direct messages (DMs) on Twitter in which Guccifer 2.0 said that a “seth” was his “whistleblower.” Young has since advocated for the apprehension of Rich’s killer(s) and praised Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity and internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom for pursuing it.
On May 20, Dotcom tweeted that he had proof that Rich was Wikileaks’ source of the DNC emails. His attorneys in New Zealand, where he lives, on Monday posted an open letter to Mueller proposing that Dotcom, who is facing extradition by the U.S. Department of Justice in an unrelated case, be provided safe travel to and from the U.S. in order to present his evidence to authorities in person.
During the interview, Corsi recognized the Rich family’s public entreaties for privacy but maintained that “the family unfortunately is going to have to deal with the public nature of this murder and the solving of the murder.”
“…Democrats are just terribly afraid of the Seth Rich story,” he said. “The core corruption was the Democrats themselves.”
He predicted that as the Russia narrative “collapses,” additional corruption relating to the Democrat Party and Hillary Clinton, in particular, will be exposed. “That’s what the Democrats are afraid the American people are going to find out,” Corsi told Stone at 6:39.
