(Sep. 25, 2016) — A live broadcast on Sunday morning at 9:30 on FullMeasure News aired a face-to-face interview between former CBS News journalist Sharyl Attkisson and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Last week, Attkisson tweeted that she had requested interviews with both Trump and Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton, the latter of whose campaign declined.

At 9:36, Attkisson asked Trump if the Trump Foundation has “followed all rules” given an investigation reportedly opened by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman into the charity.  Attkisson stated that Schneiderman is a Clinton supporter and has not opened an investigation into the Clinton Foundation, which is under investigation at the federal level.  Trump responded that his foundation has operated in accordance with the law.

She also asked Trump about “free trade” agreements, which he has said he believes harm American workers.  Trump responded that “we will have free trade” if he is elected, but not to the detriment of the United States.

The segment ended at 9:40, but Attkisson said that a later portion of the half-hour news show will include airing questions put to Trump from her viewers.

Her interview with Trump was broadcast the day before the first presidential debate between Trump and Clinton, which Attkisson reported approximately 73% of the country’s registered voters plan to watch.

Here is an example of Trump working for the Office of the
President. He has worked numerous hours for days at a time.
No one can attend all invitations, but Trump seems to invest
as much time as possible to do many events and interviews.

On the other hand, Hillary doesn’t seem to be nearly as active
nor engaged. Her scheduled events don’t seem that often, nor
am I aware of her being available as often and actually putting
the pedal to the metal.

Hillary’s energy level just doesn’t seem to have a full tank.
