HUGE LOSSES PRECEDED VICTORY IN NORMANDY

by Dr. Thomas E. Davis, Col., USA (Ret.), World War II Veteran, ©2016,

(Jun. 6, 2016) — Even before D-Day, in April and May 1944, the Allied air forces lost nearly 12,000 men and over 2,000 aircraft in operations which paved the way for D-Day.

On D-Day American deaths were about 2,500, and many more were badly wounded. Some of them later gave it all.

Every American president except Barry Soetoro-Obama has gone to Normandy on June 6 to pay America’s respects and to offer prayers to Almighty God for their safe repose.

Today will likely be no different! A cowardly traitor will be off somewhere peddling his nonsense about how we have contained ISIS, the labor force is growing by leaps and bounds and Americans are living better than ever before.

Some members of Congress may travel, at government expense, to France, offer platitudes and pose for photo-ops, issue statements praising the Allied Forces for having defeated the Germans. All show! We are no closer to wiping out ISIS and the Islamic terrorists than we were on January 20, 2009, and a TRAITOR remains in office. Pathetic!

I cannot express my thoughts, opinions and feelings about this traitor in the White House nor my utter contempt for the incompetent congress that have allowed that cancer to spread.
