CRUZ DEVOTES FULL WEB PAGE TO “NATURAL BORN CITIZEN” ISSUE, INVOKING ROMNEY’S FOREIGN BIRTHPLACE

(Mar. 10, 2016) — Ted Cruz has been caught in a huge lie trying to cover up his ineligibility. He said George Romney, Mitt Romney’s father, was born in Mexico and his “natural born Citizen” status wasn’t questioned when he ran for President.
However, the Congressional Record shows that not only was George Romney’s “natural born Citizen” status in question, but it was stated that he was NOT a “natural born Citizen.”
June 1967, The Congressional Record 6-14-1967:

“I find no proper legal or historical basis on which to conclude that a person born outside of the United States could ever be eligible to occupy the Office of the President of the United States. In other words, in my opinion, Mr. George Romney of Michigan is ineligible to become President of the United States because he was born in Mexico and is, therefore, not a natural-born citizen as required by the United States Constitution.”

When George Romney’s parents immigrated to Mexico they were required to renounce their U.S. Citizenship and swear allegiance to Mexico. George was born in Mexico and at the time of his birth both of his parents were Mexican citizens.
