DOES THE “NATIONAL SECURITY COMPLEX” RUN THE COUNTRY?

by Michael Gaddy, ©2015

President Harry S. Truman was sworn in as President of the United States on April 12, 1945, the same day on which Franklin D. Roosevelt passed away

(Aug. 25, 2015) — “The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy” ~Carroll Quigley Tragedy and Hope

All of the ballyhoo, comments and news reports about the candidates for president in the 2016 campaign season would be humorous if the truth behind elections in this country was not so sad.

It matters not one iota who wins the next presidential election or the congressional elections for that matter—this country will continue to swirl down the drain of history because our president and the vast majority of members of congress owe their allegiance to the power cabal. The better description of this power cabal would be the National Security state.

The complete downfall of our supposed Constitutional Republic began in earnest on July 26, 1947 when President Truman signed into law the National Security Act. Truman had been hoodwinked by the Dulles brothers, Allen and J. Foster into importing over 700 Nazis, many of them members of the Gestapo into this country, placing them in important positions throughout the government bureaucracy.

Allen Dulles used his position as Director of the CIA to whitewash and/or alter these Nazis’ records, removing any mention of their affiliation with the Nazi Party or the Gestapo. Truman authorized Operation Paperclip which allowed for certain German scientists and others to be imported into this country with many of them becoming American citizens. Initially, Allen Dulles was restricted by the wording of Operation Paperclip which expressly excluded anyone found to “have been a member of the Nazi Party and more than a nominal participant in its activities, or an active supporter of Naziism or militarism.” The War Department (now the Department of Defense) was tasked with performing background checks on any Germans desiring to come to America through the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA). This agency was headed by Director Bosquet Wev.

Director Wev submitted his first list of “scientists” to the Department of Justice and Department of State for approval. Samuel Klaus of the State Department stated all of the people on Wev’s list were “ardent Nazis” and their visas were summarily denied. Wev was furious and took his case to Allen Dulles at the CIA who then met with former Nazi Director of Intelligence, Reinhard Gehlen.

It must be noted here that Allen Dulles, covertly, without President Truman’s knowledge, worked with Nazi Intelligence Director Gehlen to bring his (Gehlen’s) entire intelligence unit into the CIA. Ironic that had such a partnership been consummated just a few months before, Dulles would have been branded a traitor. It is my position that a couple of months does not matter; Dulles, operating outside of his obligation to the president, the mandates of Paperclip, and operating outside constitutional limitations, should still be considered a traitor. A case could certainly be made that Dulles surrendered much of the operation of the CIA to ardent Nazis in 1947.

Dulles used his position as Director of the CIA to re-write all of the dossiers of the German scientists, eliminating any reference to the Gestapo or Nazi Party. These new intelligence assets would begin work on many of the CIA’s secret programs that haunt our society to this day: MK Ultra, Operation Artichoke, Operation Bluebird and Operation Midnight Climax, to name some of the most evil.

Look at pictures of James Holmes, Adam Lanza, Dylann Roof, Seung-Hui Cho and many other “nuts with guns,” then read about the above CIA projects and try to convince yourself there is no possibility of a link between them. One must always ask themselves “who profits” from these crazy massacres. The only entity that profits has to be the government—each incident gives them the opportunity to impose more unconstitutional and tyrannical restrictions on society while increasing the powers of the state.

For example, Operation Artichoke focused on the use of hypnosis, forced morphine addiction, forced morphine addiction withdrawal, along with other drugs, chemicals, and techniques. The main focus of the program was summarized in a January 1952 CIA memo, “Can we get control of an individual to the point where he will do our bidding against his will and even against fundamental laws of nature, such as self-preservation?” (Emphasis added)

Operation Bluebird was described as “putting brain electrodes in children as young as 11 years old and controlling their behavior from remote transmitters; giving 150 mcg of LSD per day to children age 7-11 for weeks and months at a time; building safe houses where CIA personnel watched prostitutes turn tricks with customers – the prostitutes gave their customers LSD without the customers’ knowledge; wiping out memories with electric shock, and using animals with implanted brain electrodes as delivery systems for chemical and biological weapons.” (Emphasis added)

A good case could be made the Dulles brothers hijacked the government during the Truman administration and their control carried over to the Eisenhower administration. Allen was still Director of the CIA and John Foster was first Secretary of the Navy and then Secretary of State.

From his farewell address it appears Eisenhower began to see how our government was controlled. It was here he warned of the military/industrial complex. It is imperative we understand the “industrial” part of the mixture was the arms industry and their seemingly endless number of lobbyists.

“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together…

The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded…

Down the long lane of the history yet to be written America knows that this world of ours, ever growing smaller, must avoid becoming a community of dreadful fear and hate, and be instead, a proud confederation of mutual trust and respect.

Such a confederation must be one of equals. The weakest must come to the conference table with the same confidence as do we, protected as we are by our moral, economic, and military strength. That table, though scarred by many past frustrations, cannot be abandoned for the certain agony of the battlefield.”

Even those with a public fool system education should be able to discern the country Eisenhower yearned for and the one brought to us courtesy of the Clintons, Bushes and Obamas of the world are diametrically opposed.

Allen W. Dulles spent many years in government service, including as CIA Director during the 1950s and ’60s

Allen Dulles would remain as Director of the CIA when John Fitzgerald Kennedy assumed the reins of power in 1961. Kennedy’s selection for Secretary of State would be Dean Rusk after being assured Rusk would not attempt to usurp the president on foreign policy. Unfortunately for JFK and our country, the National Security complex led by Allan Dulles with help from General Curtis Lemay did not intend to allow Kennedy to dictate foreign policy without their influence.

Dulles may have lied to Eisenhower just as he had Truman. Dulles was in charge of the U-2 spy plane program which was periodic photographic overflights of the USSR. When Francis Gary Powers was shot down over the Ural Mountains in 1960, Eisenhower initially denied the US was intentionally conducting these flights. There are some historians who believe since the pilots of the U-2 flights were CIA employees, and not military, Eisenhower may have not known the flights were taking place.

Released documents from the Kennedy era reveal some interesting possibilities. There are questions whether the president actually controlled the nuclear launch capabilities or whether those abilities were held jointly with the National Security complex. There is also the question of whether the NSC, having been convinced by intelligence operatives that the United States maintained a strategic advantage reference Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM), attempted to influence Kennedy to launch a preemptive nuclear attack against the USSR? Allegedly, the US did maintain numerical superiority and tactical range superiority, especially from 1960-63, with the window of greatest advantage occurring late in 1963.

It should be noted the US had deployed Jupiter missiles with one megaton nuclear warheads in both Turkey and Italy in 1959, targeting Moscow.

It has been reported by several Kennedy cabinet members that a meeting to discuss this preemptive attack on the USSR did occur. Having been presented with this option, Kennedy in an Arthur Schlesinger book “…got up and walked right out in the idle of it, and that was the end of it. We never had another one.” McGeorge Bundy would write of the meeting that as Kennedy and Dean Rusk walked from the meeting to the Oval Office, Kennedy said to Rusk: “And we call ourselves the human race!”

There are many documented clashes between President Kennedy and members of the National Security Complex. There is of course the Bay of Pigs fiasco which led Kennedy to fire Allen Dulles for what Kennedy described as “lying and attempting to manipulate him [Kennedy] concerning the invasion.” Dulles certainly had established a history of lying to presidents! There was also the desire of General Curtis LeMay to have 2400 nuclear capable missiles which contradicted Kennedy’s number of 1500.

Then of course there is Operation Northwoods which was a plan endorsed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff which would have created false flag attacks against American citizens and assets in order to justify an attack on Cuba.

There is more than credible evidence the National Security apparatus was involved in the assassination of JFK. Much of that evidence can be found here, here and here.

Remarkably, one of the first people appointed to the Warren Commission by President Lyndon Johnson would be Allen Dulles.

Considering this country has been at war almost continuously since the assassination of JFK, none of which have been constitutionally declared; our rights and freedoms virtually destroyed and the presence of an ever growing police state, where is the evidence that our country is not controlled by the National Security power brokers and not elected officials?

What would it take for a newly elected president to be made aware of his subordinate role in governance than the mere mention of JFK? Think of this as you become all excited about the new list of candidates which might assume that office.

Live with it people, our country is controlled by the military/industrial/congressional/international banking complex. We are not free and we have no rights.

“War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.”  ~Marine Major General Smedley Darlington Butler, two time recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor in his book, “War is a Racket.”
