“VOTE EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS OUT”

(Jul. 2, 2015) — In order for this to happen, we must agree on a few things. (I know many of you may not agree.)
FIRST: For the past 50 years, our government has been anti-GOD, anti Constitution, and anti-family values. They have lost their Moral Compass!!
SECOND: We have been electing the same people to represent us and nothing has changed for the good, and our country continues on a downward spiral.
THIRD: Half of Americans are sheep and will follow anyone who tells them what they want to hear and that they are entitled to everything without working for it. The other half believe they are good patriotic Americans. They work hard, pay their bills, and raise their families as best they can. But when it comes to voting, many of them just follow along blindly and vote party over principle. The other group are Christians, half of whom are not registered to vote. Of those who are registered to vote, only one-third of them actually will.
FOURTH: We as a people have become complacent over the years and no longer read or listen to the news. We do not check or verify what our government says; we are happy to believe the sound bites the media feeds us.
If we can agree in part on the above statements, here are the steps I believe could put us on the road to “TAKE BACK AMERICA.”
First we need to get on our knees and pray that GOD will forgive us for what we have allowed to happen to our Country. I’m not talking about a thirty-second prayer; I’m talking about fervently praying and/or fasting. Christians have to stand up and get involved in what’s going on in America. It’s time they get off the sidelines and get in the game. Pastors must start speaking out and let their congregation know what’s going on in the world and not worry about their TAX-EXEMPT STATUS.
Next we need to change our voting habits. We need to elect people who are pro-GOD, pro-Constitution, and pro-Family Values!! We should have learned by now that career politicians who promise us everything when they are running for office deliver just the opposite when they get elected. We need to change Washington from the inside out. Most people believe politicians can’t be trusted, but when we say we need a change, they say “But my Representative is different.” What we need to do (if you have the courage to do it) is vote EVERY member of Congress out. Then in two or four years, vote them out again, and continue to do that until they realize they work for us. Why is it that it costs someone who wants to run for office millions of dollars? Why is it if they want to represent America we allow them to take money from foreign governments? Why, if you are running for office in one state, do we allow people from other states to contribute to the those candidates? This has to come to a stop.
There is no need for members of Congress to make more than our military. They should not be given a pension after they retire or are voted out of office, and they should live by THE SAME LAWS THEY WANT US TO LIVE BY!!
Next, we need to show our Government we are serious. We need to come together as Americans and have a march on Washington and remind them in strong and uncertain terms that we are the government and they work for us. We also need to stop being a bunch of wimps and stand up for what we believe and let Congress know we are not going to take it anymore. We need to reassert the States’ Rights we gave away to the Federal Government which are now being used against us to keep us in line. It’s time we voted for like-minded Representatives and a President who has America’s best interests in mind and puts America first.
Finally, if all else fails, we need to follow Thomas Jefferson’s advice that at least once every 20 years “a medicine necessary for the sound health of government” was to be administered……Well, it’s about time that we take Thomas Jefferson’s advice. We have waited too long, we are in big trouble and we as Americans need to step up to the plate and fix it…THE TIME IS NOW!!
