“SMOLDERING” JUDGE EXCLAIMS, “YOUR REQUEST IS DENIED!”

by the Tipton County Court-Watcher

(Jun. 29, 2015) — On June 26, 2015 a Court watcher observed and reported the following:

09:10am Mike Parsons Arrived at the Tipton County Criminal Injustice Complex

09:20am Mike Parsons filed Notice with the Court Clerk that he wished his appearance be in a court of record and submitted it without submitting to jurisdiction.

09:30am Mike Parsons entered the Court room where over 60 people were sitting in the gallery and over 20 attorneys were hovering behind the bar.

09:50am Judge Joseph Walker III, flanked by two deputies, entered and one of the deputies demand all rise.  Mr. Parsons remained seated.

For the next hour Walker called out the names of nearly 60 people.  However, only about 12 of the people called were in the gallery, nearly 30 called were reported by the Assistant DA to be in jail or prison and the whereabouts of the remaining were unknown.

Apparently those in the court room, most wearing shorts, T-shirts and half awake are oblivious to the pending fate that awaits them.  Apparently those identified as being in prison have no doubt been recycled back into prison on parole violations to keep Tennessee’s Prisons for Profits Plantation full of slaves.  And those that learned by the example made of many like Mr. Parsons that there is no justice in the Tipton County Court apparently would rather flee to safe haven to avoid certain jail or prison.

There were several people called and their attorney would stand and say, he or she has not returned my calls and their whereabouts is unknown.  Some where identified by the Assistant DA as being in other states including South Dakota and Colorado and when Walker asked if they were going to get them the assistant DA said, do we really want to pay to go get them.  Apparently it’s all about money.

And finally Mr. Parsons was called and as he slowly made his way to the gate he asked was this on the record and Walker said step forward to the podium.  Mr. Parsons did not advance past the gate but stood fast and repeated, is this on the record?  Walker began squirming and said yes.  Mr. Parsons stated he was there by special appearance only, in a court of record and that he wanted to assure the Court Reporter was recording this given the fact that in the previous matter before this court he had been appointed an attorney one Barney Witherington, and raised his arm and pointed toward a small weasel sitting in the court with a grim on his face.  Mr. Parsons stated he had requested being provided transcripts from the court through that attorney and then directly to the Court reporter and the Court Clerk but page 33 of the sentencing transcript and the entire Motion Hearing held in November 2009 was never provided to him.  WHY?

Walker began smoldering as said Mr. Parsons could pay for the transcript if he chooses but he would not ask the STATE to pay for it.  Mr. Parsons stated that Walker had declared him indigent in that matter and by law Mr. Parsons had a right to the transcripts.  Walker was now smoking and said your request is D E N I E D!

Then Mr. Parsons stated he had filed a Motion to Dismiss the indictment citing the violation of court rules requiring there be a preliminary hearing and that the indictment must be dismissed according to the rules.  Walker ignored Mr. Parsons and asked if he had obtained an attorney, and if not how much time would he need.  Mr. Parsons stated he was seeking “Legal Counsel” but had not found any as yet.  Walker said return on July 31 for another report date.  That concluded the court’s business.

  1. In a recent Federal Court case in Jackson, TN against the TDOC and 3 guards for using excessive force on a prisoner several of the jurors were from Tipton County, as were the accused guards, and most of the witness’ for the State and TDOC. The state employee records for the guards dismisal/retirement were surpressed and the judge would not allow them to be questioned on that aspect of their past employment. Retaliation was evident when the state introduced the prisoners disiplinary records which indicated an escalation of incidents of disiplinary violations with extraordinary (inhumane)punishment and deprivation of proper medical care. Most of these were after the prisoner filed the lawsiut against the State and TDOC.
The prison complex in Tipton Co.is a continuation of slavery mentality in the form of TN’s prisons for profit scheme involving many judges and other law enforcement personel
