“A House Divided Against Itself”

Emerging from the dark depths of Skid Row, Los Angeles, California, the national capital of homelessness, activist Ted Hayes prescribes generational healing for America’s divisive, nation-destroying, racial wound.

The unhealed, chattel slavery-race wound deep within the national, collective, and generational soul of We the People of the United States is “that cause” for which 740,000 innocent, young white boys, and 38,000 black boys gave “the last full measure of devotion” of their white lives in the Civil War 150 years ago, of the ever-growing, racial tensions, primarily between white and black, US citizens.

Innocently born with this potentially fatal “birthmark” wound on its face dubbed “black lives,” and inherited from the British Empire on July 4, 1776, it has plagued what POTUS Abraham Lincoln said is “a house divided against itself.”
