AND FAILS TO LIVE UP TO ITS PROMISES

(Apr. 3, 2015) — I may be wrong on this – correct me if I am – but it was my understanding that the voters during the last election sent an overwhelming message to Washington that we wanted Obamacare repealed; wanted the IRS and the DHS abolished; wanted the Federal Reserve Bank audited and its officers convicted for stealing public funds (and then carted off to jail); and Lois Lerner and Hillary made to actually answer questions put to them in various Congressional hearings (and then carted off to jail). Everyone in the VA who had a hand in shafting the Veterans just so they, the “should’ve-been-fired” a long time ago (let alone hired in the first place) could collect an unearned bonus should also get in the long line of government ex- or current employees (and then carted off to jail).
By this time we expected the border to be closed and the illegal immigrants rounded up and carted off to wherever they came from. Okay, at least the process started.
We also expected all Muslims to be sent over to Sand Land to do whatever Muslims do in the middle of the desert.
We expected a lot because a lot is wrong; not just a little bit wrong, but a lotta bit wrong. We don’t need new laws, no, what we need is to abolish the old laws that stifle our economy.
Give the American worker a level playing field and we’ll run circles around any other country, but when you allow foreign goods to be dumped on our shores made by slave and child labor and exempt from our safety and pollution laws, why, it’s no wonder that we’re falling behind economically.
Everything made overseas we can manufacture to be just as good, and most likely better, than can be made anywhere else in the world. If the government would implement fair tariffs, then we could do away with Bill Clinton’s best friends (that would be China).
But Congress hasn’t done any of these things and most likely won’t. And not one little peep about the ineligible felon de facto in the White House (Obama) or one little peep about the inept and corrupt Attorney General not doing his job (Holder).
Nothing. A “Nothing Congress.”
Naw, they don’t listen, but then, let’s be honest now, did we really think they would?
What I think we are going to have to do is start recalling congressmen and installing people who will do the job. Give them deadlines and goals just like I had and have in business.
A vote for John Boehner is a vote for Obama and his policies.
While this is all true, the stupid voters will go to the polls and re-elect the incumbents by a wide margin.
