Supporters of law enforcement in Houston participated in Rally For L.E.’s national Link In The Chain rally this past Saturday. At least 15 cities were a part of the nationwide effort to thank the members of law enforcement for their service. Another Link In The Chain demonstration is scheduled for March 28th.
(Jan. 26, 2015) — They say one person can make a difference but this past Saturday at least 15 cities and towns across the country at the same time said thank-you to the men and women in law enforcement for their service as a part of the national Link In The Chain rally. Hosted by Rally For L.E. (or Rally For Law Enforcement) a pro-law enforcement movement, the event was to show appreciation for the work that the police do on a daily basis.
“It was great to see people in other cities and towns across the United States come out to support the members of law enforcement. They lay their lives on the line every single day to make sure our community is kept safe. The least we can do is let them know that we appreciate that sacrifice. We will keep holding rallies in support of the police so you can expect to be seeing a lot of the color blue,” said Nohl Rosen, Rally For L.E.’s leader.
Rosen started the pro-law enforcement movement last month which is slowly spreading throughout the nation. Now there is established leadership in other cities that not only will be taking part in the national rally but also organizing local events to support law enforcement. Rally For L.E.’s next pro-police demonstration called Back The Badge will happen on February 7th from 10am – 12pm in front the Arizona Department Of Public Safety substation located at 14 N. 18th Avenue in Phoenix (18th Ave. & Adams next to the Arizona State Capitol). The next Link In The Chain rally will happen on March 28th, and already more cities wish to participate in the next one.
