“THEY HAVE A TOUGH JOB”

(Dec. 10, 2014) — While protesters continue to march against the police around the country over the deaths of Rumain Brisbon, Michael Brown and Eric Garner, one Phoenix resident is leading a demonstration in support of the police this weekend. Nohl Rosen, a local business owner and radio host, says that he finds it distasteful how people could rally against the police and root for the bad guys. He says he’s holding the rally to show the police that there are people who care about them.
“It’s unbelievable that there are people in this country who could actually demonstrate or march in support of the criminals. Since when do people root for the bad guys? It’s the cops that lay their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. When one of them is injured or killed in the line of duty at the hands of the criminals, where are the protesters then? I wanted to show the police officers in our community that there are those like myself that support them. They have a tough job and deserve our respect as well as our thanks,” Rosen said.
The demonstration is scheduled for Saturday, December 13th from 10am – 12pm in front of Phoenix Police headquarters located at 602 W. Washington Street in Phoenix but there is a chance of rain which could push the protest to happen on Sunday instead when it’s expected to be much clearer. For more information call 480-980-8541.
