“TAXING YOU TO DEATH”

(Aug. 15, 2014) — The thing with icebergs is that they exist where people don’t live and rarely visit, and when people do run across an iceberg, they give it a wide, wide berth. Not so with the pyramid. Pyramids don’t offer any surprises; why, you can walk right by one and feel confident that it won’t suddenly turn over or move in some strange and unexpected way, possibly doing you some bodily harm. Iceberg experts claim that a large iceberg can suddenly become topsy-turvy in an instant: what was up is now down; what was under water is now above. Pyramid experts claim that pyramids are a static entity: they don’t move. Icebergs, on the other hand, are a dynamic force because they move, even to the point of disappearing completely: you could say that, when it rains, it’s raining icebergs, albeit melted.
Some of us like to use charts and graphs as a teaching tool. Let’s say I’m the boss and I’m explaining to you why you’re not getting a raise. Me? I’ll skip the chart that represents our dismal performance during the last five years and just say, “Look around. You figure it out.”
But everyone isn’t as astute as you. Some people must be shown pie-charts in bright colors depicting social engineering events. In the 1900’s, many people lived on farms: large green slice. Today, most of us live in large metropolitan areas: Chicago is now Chicagoland, for instance: large red slice.
Other pie charts represent individual freedoms. One pie chart shows that the majority of Americans in the 1700’s killed whatever meat they ate that night: “What’s to eat?” “Possum stew if you kill one.”
Some (rare) charts show that there’s a direct connection between freedom and individual responsibility. The more government intrusion, the less individual responsibility and, therefore, the less freedom. Where once if you wanted to eat a fish, you went fishing and got it yourself, today you’d get arrested without a current and proper fishing license for the type of fish you wish to eat and the time of year you can catch it.
Let’s take a look at this particular chart. Yes, it’s shaped like a pyramid, but don’t let that fool you. More about that later. This pyramid places you at the pinnacle: the top of the heap. You are the master of your domain. You dictate your wants and needs. Do you require a larger cistern? Well, build one. You don’t pay a tax (some call such a tax a “fee” or a “license”) to do what’s necessary.
Now we’ll turn the page here and what do we see? An upside-down pyramid: this pyramid acted as an iceberg: it flipped, and there you are, still at the point but, instead of being on the top, you’re now at the bottom with the whole weight of the Federal government crushing your freedom, taxing you to death.
The IRS is the front man on this operation, although it’s really much more than just one government elephant. But we have to start somewhere to get our freedoms back, and there’s no better place to start than to abolish the IRS, followed by the Department of Homeland Security, aka “Muslim Relocating Services.” Replace the Income Tax with a National Sales tax.
The pyramid philosophy of government is nothing other than a snake-in-the-grass: pretending to be a static pyramid with your Civil Rights at the top but is, in reality, an iceberg that flipped with patriotic citizens at the bottom: crushed, labeled as “domestic terrorists”: believers in the Constitution and Veterans who took the Oath to defend the Constitution with their lives.
