TO STAMP OUT JUDICIAL CORRUPTION

At the Battle of Athens in 1946:
· The 2nd Amendment was put to the test, with lots of shots fired;
· No one was killed;
· No one was charged with any crimes (except one of the corrupt Sheriff’s deputies, who shot a ‘corruption objector’ in the back);
· And corruption in McMinn County politics, courts, and law enforcement was stopped … for a little while.
But it’s back again – in Politics (from the TN Governor on down), in the Courts (from the TN Supreme Court on down), and in Law Enforcement (from the TN Attorney General and the TN FBI on down to the County Sheriff and even to the Cop on the Beat).
History was made in Athens, TN in 1946, and now, 68 years later, it may be made again. It was our Veterans who led the charge to expose the corruption then, and it is a few of our patriotic Veterans who are leading the charge again now.

Is it time for history to repeat itself again in Athens, Tennessee?
Editor’s Note: No one is advocating violence of any kind at the events of Monday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 19. These events will be peaceful and constitutional. While the first Battle of Athens devolved into shots fired, next week’s “Second Battle of Athens” most definitely will not.
