“WE ARE THE ONES THAT HOLD THE POWER”

(May 26, 2014) — In 2012, OUR TEAM supported 21 candidates and got 10 good people elected. Even though many would say that’s a good job, the results need to be examined. Here’s the fact – WE are further into the abyss now than WE were in 2012.
Conventional wisdom hangs their hat on elections, but the election process we now have is so slanted it will not allow the changes we need to restore Americanism. It is really time for us to look to something more.
For many years, I have worked with teams trying to elect people. As an “outsider” that is a daunting task that until now, resulted in more failures than successes. Yes, we have had successes but “they” have had more success than us. They have too much power, money and influence. Yup – time for a new approach – ya think?
I have always said, “Top Down Won’t Work – Bottom Up Will.” The bottom of the election process is the foundation – the foundation is the Committeeman. The political parties are powerless without the aid of the Committeemen. Without the Committeemen they could not get their candidates on the ballot. Maybe the solution is as simple as 1,2,3 – NEW – FREE Committeemen.
Here’s the process we now have: the political parties (party bosses) choose who “they” want elected (no input from people). They create nominating ballots for each of their choices. They then tell the committeemen to go get the required signatures to get “their” candidates on the ballot. There’s the key – the COMMITTEEMEN. Without the willingness of the Committeemen neither party would be able to get “their” candidates on the ballot. Example: Skelos and Silver are too powerful to beat in an election. Both could be out of office without spending a penny or a slick campaign. How, you ask? If WE held the Committeemen positions in their districts WE could simply NOT collect the signatures they need – done – over – they are out of office – right then – no campaign needed !!!! As easy as 1,2,3 “WE” can be the ones that hold the power!!!!! Yup – it’s true.
Most people don’t even know what a Committeeman is – and most of those that do don’t realize that it is an elected position. Very few realize how the Committeeman election works. Here’s how; YOU get a nominating petition and get about 20 of your neighbors (in the same party as you) to sign your petition (nominating ballot). Those signatures are YOUR votes. YOU then turn YOUR petition into the Board of Election (NOT the party chairman). That’s it – in most cases – YOU are now a FREE Committeeman. – YOU hold tremendous power !!

It costs nothing to become a FREE Committeeman. There are NO requirements (except to be a registered voter). There are NO duties you must fulfill as a Committeeman – NO obligations. YOU do only what YOU choose to do. Yup, do only what YOU choose to do – take action or do nothing……you can’t be fired.
Each party has 1 Committeeman for every 600 people in YOUR neighborhood. In a Township of 20,000 people, there are 33 Committeemen in each party. Guess what – about half remain vacant – YOU can fill that position!!

NOTE: Even if YOU “think” YOU don’t want to be a FREE Committeeman – don’t YOU agree, YOU should still education yourself about Committeemen? NYS has a LAWLESS government operating in Albany.
Cuomo is up for reelection this year. ALL legislators are up for reelection this year too. OUR coalition has developed a “Target List” of 26 NY Senators and 39 Assemblymen seats. WE MUST find and support NEW people in the “Target Districts.” OUR TEAM goal is to replace ALL of them!!!!!! This gives US the opportunity to correct the path of NYS this year. WE need to consider a BAN of NATIONAL PARTY’S.
They diminish the influences of individual States which is antithetical to the Constitutional division of powers doctrine as well as the Jeffersonian democracy model of “LOCAL democracy within a National Republic”
As long as we have National Party structures that exert their influence into the hearts of State Governments right down to “poll watches” what chance does the “best local man for the job” have when the National Party has their own candidate.
The National Party structure ALSO diminishes the individual States ability to what is best for its own self interest. The is little that is more un-American than that.
I could go on, but I’m just a Johnny Appleseed on this issue, given I’m engaged with other battles.
