EMAILS SHOW REGIME SPOKESWOMAN INSTRUCTED TO MAKE OBAMA “LOOK GOOD

by Sharon Rondeau

Does he “look good” now?

(May 1, 2014) — On Tuesday, Judicial Watch released emails obtained through a federal court ruling which reveal that “White House Deputy Strategic Communications Adviser Ben Rhodes and other Obama administration public relations officials” instructed then-United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice to put forth a false narrative about the cause of the attack on a U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya which killed four Americans.

Rhodes wrote that it was the regime’s “goal” to “underscore that these protests are rooted in and [sic] Internet video, and not a broader failure or policy.”

At 12:03 p.m. EDT, Fox News stated at the bottom of the television screen that according to a “Top Intel Dir(ector),” the “military should have tried to help in Benghazi.”

Amb. J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were brutally killed after Islamic terrorists set the compound on fire and lobbed mortars at two former Navy SEALS who attempted to mount a rescue of those trapped inside, losing their lives in the process.

To the present time, Speaker of the House John Boehner has stated that a “Select Committee” to investigate the Benghazi event is not necessary because several congressional committees have launched their own probes.

At 12:10 p.m. EDT, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was shown giving the daily press briefing, describing Benghazi as “a tragedy” and blaming its politicization on former presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Carney characterized Republicans’ expressed desire to repeal Obamacare as “showboating” and a waste of time as focus could have been placed on “creating jobs.”

A reporter asked about the Rhodes email, to which Carney stated that “folks on Capitol Hill were lied to” by others about the events in Benghazi and quoted former deputy CIA director Mike Morell as having drafted the “talking points” which Rice used on five Sunday talk shows on September 16, 2012.

Carney claimed that “huge protests outside of diplomatic facilities” was the actual topic of the incriminating email released by Judicial Watch, among others.  Carney claimed that “conspiracy theories” “promulgated by Republicans” provided false information to the public about the Benghazi narrative.

Carney claimed that the emails in question were released previous to Tuesday, again referring to “a conspiracy by Republicans” which allegedly refuted the information the White House had released.

The fact of the matter is…there were potentially dangerous and violent and even fatal protests happening at facilities everywhere…” Carney said.  “On the specific issue of the Benghazi attack, our representative…relied on points provided to the congress and the administration that were produced by the intelligence community…”

Carney stated that Republican staffers “fed” false information which led to “false charges” which he described as “bogus,” including reports of a “stand-down order” reported by former charge d’affaires Gregory Hicks.

“There is an active investigation” to find those responsible for the attack, Carney told the reporter who continued to press him for answers.  Carney claimed that Rice’s statements were based on what they “thought was true at the time.”

Carney alleged that Republicans have been “claiming a conspiracy where they haven’t been able to find one,” which contradicts the statements of some who testified to congressional committees.  Carney stated that Obama has recommended higher amounts of money to be spent on security overseas.

“Again and again, they come back to this…instead of focusing on what the real issues are,” Carney said, telling the reporter to “ask Congress” why they haven’t acted on appropriating the money allegedly desired by Obama to improve embassy security.

Ed Henry of Fox News asked why the incriminating email from Rhodes was turned over as a result of a lawsuit by “a conservative group,” referring to Judicial Watch, in a “Benghazi” request if the email did not concern Benghazi, as Carney tried to claim.

In 2009, Carney’s predecessor, Robert Gibbs, laughed when Les Kinsolving of WND asked why Obama had not shown his original, long-form birth certificate allegedly on file with the Hawaii Department of Health.  Obama supporters and the mainstream media have refused to cover the fact that a criminal investigation has found that the image released three years ago on the White House website is a “computer-generated forgery.”

Judicial Watch reported that Dan Pfeiffer, who was Obama’s communications director when the long-form birth certificate image was released, was a recipient of the email.  Pfeiffer has since been promoted.

At 12:24 p.m., Carney said that “the protests in Cairo and what happened in Benghazi” was taken from the CIA’s talking points.

No arrests have been made more than 18 months after the attack, although reports have surfaced that the Obama regime knows who the perpetrators are.

Carney told Ed Henry that “much to your boss’s disappointment,” the talking points came from the CIA.  “A lot of those points turned out to be true,” Carney said.

Carney claimed that the regime is under “attack” from Republicans and that the White House “produced material publicly” which showed that “we were right and they were wrong.”

“The conspiracy theories keep falling apart,” Carney said, referring to the Accountability Review Board’s (ARB) review conducted after the attack which has been roundly criticized for having failed to interview then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Carney said that the White House “has answered a ton of questions” which are normally not provided because of the nature of partisan attacks.  “This release of the FOIA request has revived this story…” Carney said after he accused reporters of “lying” about the facts.

The mainstream media has failed to report on the forgery of Obama’s long-form birth certificate and Selective Service registration form, although Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is expected to release “universe-shattering” information in the near future.

Carney and his wife have two Soviet-era propaganda posters in their home as depicted in a puff piece in a Washington, DC-based magazine on Carney’s family.

“The only reference in this email is a cut-and-paste that you guys have had from another email,” Carney said.  He claimed that the emails released by Judicial Watch contain “nothing” significant.

As this article goes to press, congressional hearings are ensuing through the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.  Retired Brig. Gen. Robert W. Lovell testified that “what we did know quite early on was that this was a hostile action.  This was no demonstration gone terribly awry.”

Lovell told Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa that a drone was sent to fly overhead but that no other military intervention was carried out.

An “interim report” written by a panel consisting of former CIA agents, military officers and a former congressman states that the Obama regime “switched sides in the war on terror.”  CCB-Interim-Report-4-22-2014

The “Citizens Committee” also found that “the US government allowed arms to flow to al-Qaeda-linked militants who opposed Muammar Gaddafi.”

Major coverage on the Benghazi fallout has been provided by Clare Lopez, and member of the panel; Roger Aronoff of Accuracy in Media; and Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely (Ret.) at his StandUpAmerica blog.
