KEY ISSUE OBAMA’S U.S.C. QUALIFICATION/ELIGIBILITY

(Mar. 15, 2014) — The “Independents” are a voting block in the United States of America that basically have been deciding elections for quite some time now. Republicans and Democrats have been in a tussal for their vote more then once, sometimes swinging between parties. The key is that there aren’t too many politicians who don’t know that without the I=Independent vote there won’t be a winning elections.

Independents drive the GOP and the DNC bat crazy, because they have everyone else in their pocket, or shall we say putting money in their pocket. This is actually the catalyst to things like Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s cockamamied rhetoric “We Have to Pass it so we can see what’s in it”. It’s a way of projecting on to Independents a slobbery gobelty goop in the hope they can sneak by and maintain their vote.

So all the work and money for a political election comes down to two parties working their tail ends off and then basically being subject to the “Independent” vote which swings winning the election either way.

The odd thing is both the Republicans and Democrats think they hold sway over Independent voters and a third party will never in a million years ever just leave them both for a strong third party candidate.

So, if the Independents are actually the American Political Party that swings elections there is no question on whether America has a two party system. America has a three party system. Over the last 12 years the Independent American Party has been the fastest growing party in America with more and more voters deciding to vote for the particular person, rather then just straight party vote.

Its been my dream however to have on the ballot the R for Republican Party – the D for the Democrat Party and the I for Independent Party. I think it would serve our Nation much better in actually getting a bigger voter turn out which could actually help all the parties. Let’s face it, they say Obama won the election because the Republican Base didn’t turn out, so there was actually a “protest” vote going on. America, meaning everyone, needs to work towards eliminating the ‘protest’ vote and I think an I on the ticket for Independent would do wonders for it giving Independents a much more fair or equal shake in the National Elections. Isnt that something that would appeal to Democrats? Fair and Equal.

Of course there are a lot of different kinds of Independent voters that vary in the pendulum from conservative to liberal, but especially in the Presidential National Election the Independent voter has not been well represented in having a candidate heard. Most generally you see live debates with the two as we saw with Barack Obama and Mitt Romney in the 2012 election cycle, and then the Independent Vote is swinging one of those two parties to the victory or the win.

It’s a way that the two-party system has manipulated the Independent Voters in America to decide on either one and whose going to be the winner. As the Independents have grown in to such a large group in America though, I don’t think that’s exactly productive for either of the two major parties because it says, “we can’t win on our own”.

The love-hate relationship between the two parties and Independents is caused indeed by this kind of abusive relationship. Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s own words, “Why would anyone get married unless they were crazy about someone?” Well, let Democrats be crazy over Democrats, and Republicans be crazy over Republicans and let them separate themselves from Independents rather than depend on them in a obsessive abusive relationship.

There is the theory that you lose an election because these independent voters didn’t vote for you. That’s what has the GOP basically doing calisthenics right now for different minorities because they see a need to court the minority vote in order to win. Gosh you’d think they’d rather just help create on the ballot an I for INDEPENDENT voters and be done with them.

Rush Limbaugh who say Republicans lost election because they didn’t stay on the conservative side, which means basically people stayed home in a protest vote and its termed not getting your base out to vote. That’s based on the GOP Leaderships choice for a candidate, as well as the Media picking the darling, rather then the conservative base.

very nice comment and appreciated..great groundswell always start locally,..and politics is all local.

@Jesse Mims thanks for your comment to. Yes,there would always be independents who didn’t vote independent, but a third major choice as I for Independent would give a large portion of voters more equality at the voting booth for those who are not R’s or D’s and currently are not represented in that way at the ballot box.
You’ve probably seen you can register as an Independent, but you can’t vote I Independent straight ticket like you can as a R or D. That’s not equal voting rights or representation at all

There is no lack of third parties available today; so, adding yet another one, by whatever name, is not going to solve the problem of the kind of unequal voting rights you refer to.

That problem developed largely as a result of anti-third party state laws passed after Ross Perot’s 1992 presidential campaign. Early summer of 1992 pre-election polls gave him as much as 39% of the vote before falling to around 20% after problems developed with his campaign staff. As a result of that controversy, and steadily dropping ratings in the polls, he quit the race. Then, with only about two months remaining before election day, Perot suddenly decided to jump back in and was able to get on the ballots in all 50 states. Despite ALL of his problems, he still managed to receive almost 20% of the popular vote in the actual election!

Although Perot did not win, his success in getting almost 20% of the vote after such a troubled campaign scared both major parties so badly that both immediately set out to get the states to pass the harshest anti-third party laws possible.

For the most part, it has been those laws which have disallowed candidates from outside the two major parties to get on enough state ballots to have a chance of winning a presidential election. Therefore, if you’re really serious about making it possible for a third party candidate to win, I recommend that you direct at least some of your efforts toward getting those anti-third party laws changed.

The reason the GOP lost the 2008 and 2012 elections can be summed up in one word… FRAUD; and, I’m not talking about the fraudulent Usurper in Chief, I’m referring to VOTER fraud. Unless and until that problem is acknowledged and FIXED, the Democrats will dominate presidential elections; whether or not, their opponent calls himself a Republican or an Independent.

As for naming a party, the “Independent” Party, I think you’re forgetting the true connotation of that word as well as the reason people come together as a political party.

In general, Independents are called by that name because they do not align themselves with either major political party OR any of the currently existing third parties; and, their reasons for doing so vary widely. In other words, the term independent is not associated with any particular ideology, and neither are the people known by that name; even though, all of them may be “proud independents” and many of them may be just as unhappy with Obama’s lack of eligibility as you and I are.

Rather, the word independent is simply a catch-all term describing a group of people who believe their personal ideology is different, many times, widely so, from those who choose to register as a party member; and, that will remain true whether or not someone creates yet another third party and names it The Independent Party. In other words, there are ALWAYS going to be “independent” people no matter how many parties there are; even if, one of those parties has that as a name.

So, what are the people who disagree with the ideology of the Independent Party’s going to be called?

You are right, republicans stayed home and didn’t vote being disgusted with the plate of dim candidates offered up.

Our voting system is run by the republican and democrat party. In Texas, and I assume most states the republicans have an application for president to get on the ballot, the democrats have an application to get on the ballot and the Secretary of State in Texas dishes out an application for the rest like independents, constitution, green or any other group that is forming to support a candidate.

I don’t think they are too willing to drop that power or divide it further but I understand the point of wanting an I on the ballot. It will take a lot of support and mad Americans to change things.

This is a problem though, these parties can and do influence debates, primary elections and other party sponsored political venues that leave out the “also rans”.

This is why the TEA Party is running right through the republican party and working influence there because the establishment republicans keep hawking their “next in line” ala McCain and then Romney. Although either one of them would have been light years ahead of the fake and fraud Obama, the fact that neither candidate challenged Obama on his citizen cred show me they both had massive gaps in plain old common sense and reasoned sound judgement.

If we look back at when either party had a full house with the president, senate and house of representatives we still got hosed. The republicans gave us tax increases, amnesty, entitlements, wars that killed and continues to damage our sons and daughters. They have done nothing to rein in the out of control government agencies like the IRS, EPA, DHS, TSA, DOE, Dept. of Non-education and so much more. The republicans sent and still send billions of dollars to countries that hate us and did nothing to reduce the cost of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, or protect our own border. They talk a lot about it between elections but really do nothing.

I am getting involved with some local political avenues to see what kind of challenge we have here. Not because I want to, I feel I have to in order to better understand the challenges we have going forward.
