“GOING BANANAS” OVER GOVERNMENT INEPTITUDE

(Jan. 13, 2014) — In a perfect world everything would be perfect. It makes sense. What about a world where you pay for services but get nothing except lame excuses and run-arounds? What if you’re paying a good chunk of your paycheck for substandard results? Choose one of the following:

1. Not happy
2. Don’t care
3. The term “Going Bananas” doesn’t quite cover it

“Going Bananas” works for me.

Throughout the years I’ve conducted an in-depth poll  of just one simple question. It’s not a hard, complicated, confusing question that requires hours of library time to answer. It’s just one simple question and I’ve never had any other answer except “Extremely dissatisfied; so dissatisfied, in fact, that all I think about, every day, all of the time, so much that it’s beginning to affect my life, maybe making me a little “wired,” is my honest, truthful and heartfelt answer of “not any too happy.” You could say that I am slightly dissatisfied. Hold that: make it a little more than slightly dissatisfied. On further contemplation, allow me to change my answer to “IT MAKES ME WANT TO GO BANANAS!”

There is nothing wrong with being honest. So here’s the question:

Are you satisfied with your government?

Are you satisfied with the hours they keep?

Are you satisfied with any aspect of the government at any time, anywhere?

Have you ever been satisfied, 100% satisfied?

Please keep you answers less than 102 decibels.

Thank you.

I propose a new rule: Every government service, window, telephone, office, sub-office, basement cubbyhole, be open for the public 365-24-7, with one, and only one, exception: on-the-road driving test done under safe driving conditions; for example, not during a hurricane or when the seismometer is less than 7.2.

    Now you have me humming, “Yes, We Have No Bananas” just like we have NO government! What a farce they all are.

    May I state again, we are surrounded by evil.
    As ugly as it is, HE will keep us THROUGH IT ALL!!!! None of it is a surprise to our sovereign Almighty God, and I pray He will give us a slight glimpse of His retribution when it is dished out!

    Apology in order, Folks,
    When I sent this in to Sharon, my Editor, I explained that I was relieving deep-pent-up dearly-held-emotions about how I felt, off-hand, about our government.
    At the end I said “less than 7.2” on the earthquake measuring machine recorder: I should’ve typed “more than 7.2” which, I suppose, kind of registers where I was on the “emotional-scale” when I wrote the piece.
    By the way, it helped. I’m happy to report that I’ve calmed down and am ready to face another day of waiting around for some of my sources to contact me but I’m not going to be holding my breath.
    People are afraid, a condition that the Obots and the supporters of the destruction of the Constitution applaud, but an action that we, really now, just can’t afford.
    Now is the time to be brave, because we may never get another chance.
