No Answers in Death of Hawaii Health Department Director

IS ANOTHER COVER-UP IN THE MAKING?

(Dec. 21, 2013) — The cause of death of Hawaii Health Department Director Loretta Fuddy has not yet been made public, although her funeral was held on Saturday with several state officials in attendance.

Fuddy reportedly passed away after the single-engine plane in which she was returning to Honolulu lost power, with the pilot maneuvering a water landing on the aircraft’s belly described as “remarkably smooth.”  The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is now investigating the accident, with a final report not expected for at least a year.

Fuddy’s autopsy was completed last Friday, but a toxicology report will likely take two more weeks.

The Associated Press’s coverage of the incident has been reproduced by numerous blogs and news outlets.

The Hawaii Department of Health reportedly holds an original birth certificate for Barack Hussein Obama over which Fuddy had maintained custody while she served as director.  She was nominated by Gov. Neil Abercrombie in late January 2011 and confirmed by the Hawaii Senate in early March of that year.

In April 2011, Obama reportedly requested two certified copies of his long-form birth certificate from Fuddy in what was considered an exception to the recently-enforced departmental policy of issuing only the short-form birth certificate, which lacks many of the details on the more extensive document.

On April 27, 2011, the image of what was represented to be Obama’s long-form birth certificate proving that he was born in Hawaii was uploaded to the White House website which was quickly labeled fraudulent by graphics experts.

Anyone asking questions about why Obama had not released his detailed birth certificate before that time was ridiculed and spurned by the media.  On April 26, 2011, the left-leaning Huffington Post excoriated Ed Henry, then working for CNN but now at Fox News Channel, for asking why Obama had not requested the document in order to settle the questions and scenarios posed by Donald Trump over the previous several months.  Henry had correctly recounted that Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie had declared in January of that year that Obama’s long-form birth certificate could not be located within the records of the Health Department.

Fuddy was the only casualty of the plane crash. Initially, Honolulu Fire Chief Terry Seelig was reported to have said that Fuddy had been trapped in the fuselage of the plane, but later reports stated that Fuddy had debarked the airplane safely with the other passengers, followed by the pilot, stepped into the water wearing a life jacket and awaited rescue.  The pilot, Clyde Kawasaki, said he put out a mayday call once he realized that he could not glide long enough to reach land.

A U.S. Coast Guard rescue crew reportedly saw nine people in life jackets in the water following the crash and observed that the airplane was not visible when they reached the survivors and Fuddy in the water.  An NTSB spokesman was quoted as having said that the aircraft would “likely not be recovered,” but on Thursday, the AP reported that “the wreckage and the engine” of the plane were recovered and brought back to Honolulu.  According to KHON, “most” of the plane was recovered from between 50 and 70 feet below the surface of the water.

On Friday, The Post & Email contacted the Honolulu Fire Department’s public affairs officer requesting comment from Seelig on the discrepancy, but he did not return the call.

A survivor who swam to shore after seeing the others leave the plane was reportedly “surprised” that Fuddy was not recovered alive.  Kawasaki was quoted as having said that “the last time he saw Fuddy, she seemed fine.”

Fuddy reportedly oversaw the copying of the original birth certificate and “certified” the two copies for Obama’s personal attorney, Judith Corley, who allegedly traveled to the Health Department to retrieve and take them to the White House for her client.

In a press release dated April 27, 2011, Fuddy stated, “I have seen the original records filed at the Department of Health and attest to the authenticity of the certified copies the department provided to the President that further prove the fact that he was born in Hawai’i.”  However, a 27-month criminal investigation has declared that the document is a “computer-generated forgery” and Obama was not born at the hospital he has identified as “the place of my birth.”

From 1991 to 2007, Obama’s official biography stated that he was born in Kenya.  In 2007, it was changed to say that he was born in Hawaii.  In 2012, after the alteration was made public, the biographer stated that a “fact-checking error” had occurred in the initial publication of the biography.

The U.S. Constitution requires that the president be a “natural born Citizen,” which many believe the Founders intended to mean a person born in the United States to two citizen parents.  Others believe it means simply a birth on U.S. soil.

Obama has been known to lie.

There is speculation that Fuddy might have been called to testify in the event of criminal prosecutions over the birth certificate forgery.
