“THE SELLING OF ONE’S SOUL”

(Oct. 17, 2013) — You know who was audacious? Cortez, for had everything to gain; it was just too bad he went to Mexico to rob rather than to share, but that was Spain’s downfall and Mexico’s gain. What’s ironic about Montezuma’s story was that, without the surrounding tribes siding with Cortez, Montezuma would’ve stayed in power. Maybe he should’ve treated his neighbors as he too wished to be treated.
Parents who home-school their children fall into the “I’ve nothing to lose” category, and are to be greatly admired, for had there been more parents who took their kids’ education to heart in the last 30 years, attending PTA meetings, for example, we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in; there would be no such animal as an “Obot”; government employees would, maybe, take pride in their job and actually do the work for which they’re getting paid, as in deporting illegal immigrants, for example, if that’s in their job description; there would be no “Sanctuary Cities that take a perverse pride in advocating and supporting breaking the law of the land.
The American Pie in the year 2013 is a vast cornucopia of freebees, from members of Congress voting to be exempt from Obamacare to the neighborhood drug dealers collecting welfare. Everybody has his handout, and what used to be a stigma has become a badge of honor, as in “I’m gaming the system more than you.” I asked a lady how she could afford to drive a new BMW convertible while she was living in public housing. She patted her obviously extended abdomen and said “Four at home and one in the oven.”
Getting back to collecting “Freebees,” it’s truly amazing that politicians such as Harry Reid (D-NV) and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have the audacity to be seen in public, let alone get in front of the microphone with the cameras running and proclaim that, yes, they are exempt from the pitfalls of Obamacare but they endorse the pain and suffering of Obamacare on their constituents and everyone else. They – Reid, Pelosi, et al – support the concepts of Socialism, the trashing of the Constitution, and in their fanatical support for the de facto president, Obama, directly remind one of the German people in the 1930’s for Herr Hitler that will, no doubt, result in the same devastating results for the USA.
Let’s cut to the chase: the politicians in Washington are, basically, a worthless lot. Maybe they arrived with high hopes of “doing the right thing” for their constituents, but that changed as soon as they took the Oath and were turned over to Party handlers that assigned which committees they were to be part of and started on their reelection campaign; all this on Day One. Corrupted by design, by choice, by inclination, by “that’s how the game is played,” and by, face it, there’s no other phrase, “Ego Greed”: the selling of one’s soul for a spot in the limelight and a piece of the pie.
Remember the last two presidential elections, where neither McCain nor Romney, NOT ONCE!, mentioned Obama’s fake Birth Certificate, or his use of a stolen Social Security number? Party orders, straight from the top. Ever write a politician, be he Republican or Democrat, and asked why he hasn’t questioned Obama’s Constitutional eligibility, and received the same exact form letter from both?
No, to expect any of today’s politicians to stand tall is an impossibility. What we need, as in soon and now, is to put someone in charge who doesn’t want nor have any need for ANY piece of the pie, red tape, reelection committees, or presidential libraries. What we need is a person who can go in there and clean house, our house, the country’s house. Where is the American military, our real American military, the men and women who took the Oath to defend and protect our Constitution? We need a coup d’etat to place someone who is a Constitutionally eligible president who will actually save our country, who isn’t afraid of saying, OUT LOUD, “Birth Certificate,” “Sayonara” to the UN, deport the Muslims and illegal immigrants, abolish our dependency on the Federal Reserve Bank, tariffs for Chinese goods being dumped on our shores, and, last but certainly not least, bury Obamacare once and for all, and that’s just for starters.
