October 1, 2013 by Steven Blair

Long Island Firearms (LIF) together with Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and Shooters Committee for Political Action (SCOPE) filed a federal lawsuit yesterday against Governor; Andrew Cuomo and Superintendent of the Division of Police; Joseph D’AMICO with regards to the NYSAFE law specifically addressing the magazine limits.

“This is a monumental day that not one but three groups have come together to challenge the NYSAFE law which is a direct violation of our rights” says Steven Blair, administrator of Long Island Firearms. “We are thrilled to be working with such prestigious organizations on this lawsuit. “It’s about time something is done to put an end to actions that affect local law-abiding citizens, enough is enough!”

Join the Movement:

  • If the PEOPLE remain silent and do not ACT society will suffer with more and more tyranny.
  • Andrew Cuomo and a totally dysfunctional NY Legislature has made New York the tip of the spear – the new Lexington-Concord in America’s fight for freedom and liberty. America was founded on Civic Action. Even before the most famous Civic Action – .The Boston Tea Party……
  • New York has become the leader in a land of tyranny. Without Civic Action any government can and will become tyrannical. Civics is not just learning – Civics is not just watching – Civics is ACTIVISM. The people can not rely on any “legal system” to fight for freedom and liberty nor will elections alone prevent tyranny.
  • Civic ACTION is the duty of every citizen. Our efforts to force a FULL Repeal of the Safe Act is what America needs. Not elections – not in the courts – an overwhelming voice of plain folks doing their civic duty is what prevents tyranny and injustice……FREEDOM is not free – the cost is CIVIC ACTION. If you want freedom and liberty here is a revision of an old phrase and one to live by: 3 things are for certain death, taxes and CIVIC ACTION.

We are Grassroots – nothing fancy – not even a Website or face-book. Our sole way to communicate is through personal email and phone. We urge ALL plain folks to spread the word and join us.
