“TRUCKERS TO SHUT DOWN AMERICA”

by Sharon Rondeau

(Oct. 8, 2013) — During morning headlines on Tuesday, Fox News’s Heather Nauert gave a headline about the upcoming truckers’ convoy to Washington, DC to protest government abuses to take place on October 11-13.

Nauert stated that the truckers will be going to Washington “to stand up for the Constitution,” then punctuated her report with “I didn’t know that was in the Constitution.”

The Post & Email will be interviewing one of the organizers of the trucker event on Tuesday evening and will have a comprehensive report without anecdotal commentary which clouds the news.

A website depicting the purpose of the event states that “Revolution is brewing,” and the group’s Facebook page reads, “Truckers to shut down America” and “This is the First wave in taking back our country, Oct 11th, 12th, 13th, We are planning a large Second Wave In The Spring.”

Other coverage of the event is found here and here.

A spokesman for the organization stated that Obama and members of Congress supportive of providing military aid to the Syrian “rebels,” which include Al Qaeda and other terrorist-group members, are guilty of treason and should be arrested.  Obama has been supporting such groups for at least four months, but several reports say it has been ongoing for at least a year.

“…we’re asking for the arrest of everyone in government who has violate their oath of office.” Yes! That is right on target!

Recall that Article I, Section 8 provides only eighteen Powers to the U.S. Congress. Every federal agency engaged in activity authorized by Congress outside these powers is in violation of the U.S. Constitution, which the persons in government have sworn to protect as part of their oath of office.

In essence we need to shut down all of the federal government, including the Executive and Judicial branches, and return government functions back to the State legislatures, save for the few powers authorized the Congress of the united States of America by the Articles of Confederation as practiced during its later years of the Second Continental Congress while the U.S. Constituition was undergoing ratification.

We the people need to restore to our State its properly constituted sovereign role as our representative and protector of our natural rights.

Only from such a platform dare we again launch a central government, this time chained to the original U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, with no other amendments recognized until accepted by a subsequently seated constititional U.S. Government as having been properly and sufficiently ratified.

This is another event in what seems to be a string of events lately whereby folks are standing up. This group definitely doesn’t suffer from a lack of courage as they are bringing a citizens grand jury and going for arrests from that. How far they get is questionable but far enough would be a good showing. Visualize the 3000 trucks that have committed and then those trucks with 53′ boxes and 14 miles of trucks three lanes wide would be a good showing.

How we show solidarity with the truckers is a little tough but perhaps emails to our congressman’s staff or letters to our local editors would help. And Conlon acknowledges the fact that their effort will not be totally effective unless they have popular support.

This rally could be a continuation of the beginning of the 2nd American Revolution that so many folks have been trying to get going. Let’s not let it die.

There DOES seem to be a great awakening in America. Quite palpable!

GO TRUCKERS!!!!

But Conlon says that’s not quite right.

“We are not going to ask for impeachment,” Conlon said. “We are coming whether they like it or not. We’re not asking for impeachment, we’re asking for the arrest of everyone in government who has violated their oath of office.”
