Update On Ride on Albany October 5 pb

“IT WILL BE A GREAT EVENT”

(Oct. 2, 2013) — Ride Time Nears and there is lots of confusion. It seems it has proved difficult to organize a ride across the state and facebook is messing with the info. Reports are that at least 10,000 will show up but I know there are many, many more looking for directions (the albel1@aol.com Connected email has had 1000s of inquiries). I’m not one of the organizers of this event but Here’s a thought: if you are one that wants to join the ride (I’m one) but can’t find the needed info:……..

On Saturday find a major highway from your area that heads to Albany – most likely Rt88 / Rt90 / Rt87 / Rt17 and just ride (bikes, cars, trucks, buses, vans, RVs, horses). Along the way you will probably join up with others. If you don’t catch up with others just be at either Colonie Center Parking lot Wolf Rd Colonie OR Park & Ride 262 McCarty Av Albany, NY by 12:30 PM on 10/5/13. If that doesn’t work for you just show up at the destination point – Capitol Park West in Albany by 1:30 pm (Washington Av. or State St. are reference points). Don’t worry – the Ride Is On and it will be a great event. Just Show Up.

The Ride on Albany still has a potential of 100,000 participating. It is now up to each one of us to step up and promote the ride. Don’t depend on others to do it. Do a last minute spreading of the word. Forward this message, too. If you want to be a part of making a major statement – start networking with everyone. Phone and email everyone. Print and distribute flyers everywhere. See you on Saturday – OH – I won’t Quit – I won’t Back Down – Return OUR Rights – FREEDOM, FREEDOM, FREEDOM !!!! Strength in Numbers – UNITED WE CAN WIN!! Don’t wimp out – Join the effort!!!!

The Albany component of the Will of the People – Ride on Albany will meet at Colonie Center Parking lot and Park & Ride 262 McCarty Av Albany, NY at 12:30 PM on 10/5/13.  The pre-ride meeting will be at 12:30 pm and KSU at 1:30.     Staging for ALL NY counties in Albany is @12:30pm… KSU is 1:30pm; when we ride on the CAPITOL !!!
