OBAMA, SYRIA, CONGRESS, AND CREDIBILITY
by Sharon Rondeau

(Sep. 10, 2013) — The Post & Email has been notified that a member of Congress who has spoken out about Obama’s actions in Benghazi and other issues is following us on Twitter.
In other Twitter news, Mark Knoller of CBS News has reported that putative Secretary of State John Kerry claims that “diplomacy” is the first choice of the Obama regime in dealing with Syria’s chemical weapons stockpiles.
On Tuesday evening, Obama will address the American people about why he believes, if he still does, that a military strike against Syria is necessary.
On Monday, a test vote in the Senate on Obama’s proposal scheduled for Wednesday was tabled, and Obama acknowledged that he might not gain the support of Congress. At least two members of the House have threatened to draft Articles of Impeachment if Obama attacks Syria without Congressional approval.
For the last two weeks, Obama and Kerry have attempted to make the case to launch a military strike on Syria rather than use diplomacy. However, on Monday evening, Obama claimed that he and Vladimir Putin began a discussion about “diplomacy” while attending the G20 summit last week.
Kerry had opposed the Vietnam and Iraq Wars outspokenly but has met with multiple world leaders to urge them to support Obama in military intervention against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who they claim used chemical weapons against his people on August 21. The Obama regime has not presented “irrefutable evidence” that Assad’s forces were responsible.
Kerry stated on Sunday that “the evidence speaks for itself.”

On Monday, Fox News Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said that Obama could be charged with war crimes if he attacks Syria unilaterally and without international support.
The Post & Email and other reporters have questioned Obama’s credibility in light of his changing positions on marriage, health care, international relations, his own life story, Fast & Furious gunrunning activity and other matters.
Erik Rush, who also has a presence on Twitter and hosts a radio program from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET, announced on his show on Tuesday that 13 people, two of whom “have ties to…Barack Obama,” have been charged with embezzling a total of $16 million which came from federal grants and was reportedly earmarked for charity. One of those charged is the daughter of Obama’s former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who invoked the words of Malcolm X when he said, “America’s chickens are coming home to roost” in a fiery speech which was publicized before the 2008 election.
Erik Rush was the journalist who first exposed Obama’s ties to Wright, who has publicly said that Obama had received extensive training in Islam before coming to his “Christian” church in Chicago.
Putin, who supports Assad, has advanced the proposal of Syria turning over its weapons stockpiles to international oversight, after which Obama stated that if “real,” the military intervention he has in mind might be avoided. Sen. John McCain, who has supported Obama’s plans for military strikes, echoed Obama’s sentiments.
Today, Rush spoke about the loss of America’s moral compass and the resultant corruption in both the public and private sectors. He predicted “tough talk” and “more of the same” from Obama this evening on Syria.
