“THE TELESCREENS SPY ON EVERY ACTIVITY”

by Sharon Rondeau

George Orwell’s “1984” took place in Oceania, a place of “perpetual war,” Thought Police, and revisionist history

(Jun. 7, 2013) — On Wednesday, the Obama regime announced that National Security Adviser Thomas Donilon had tendered his resignation effective in July.  Donilon had assumed the post after James Jones resigned in October 2010, and Donilon’s resignation was reportedly expected “sometime this year.”

The Washington Post described Donilon as having “played a key role in shaping Obama’s pragmatic approach to foreign policy.”

Also on Thursday, it became public that the National Security Agency (NSA) had obtained a court order to compel Verizon Wireless to hand over phone records of “tens of millions” of customers, which the regime described as “a critical tool” in preventing terror attacks.  The order covered a three-month period beginning on April 19, 2013 and ending July 19.  The location of the caller, the parties with whom he speaks, the length and time of a phone call,  and the other person’s location are identified.

CBS reported that the court order was officially approved on April 25.  However, surveillance of phone records began under President George W. Bush following the 9/11 attacks with the passage of the Patriot Act.

General Keith Alexander, Director of the NSA, said that the agency’s focus is on “counterterrorism.”

Fox News’s Catherine Herridge reported that the ACLU described the collection of the phone records as “beyond Orwellian,” as did The Huffington Post, referring to the novel “1984,” in which society was dominated by Big Brother, who was said to always be “watching you.”

The collection of the phone records was justified by the U.S. Justice Department under Eric Holder and reportedly applies to “all customers.”  The data is held by the FBI after it obtains a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court order.

The author of the Patriot Act, Rep. James Sensenbrenner, said the law was not intended to gather such a “broad seizure” of personal information by the government.  Democrat and Republican congressmen had contacted putative Attorney General Eric Holder regarding their concerns over the phone surveillance of Americans beginning in 2011, the same year that The New York Times filed a lawsuit to obtain information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) about domestic government surveillance practices.  The lawsuit was reportedly ignored by the regime and then dismissed.

Parties asked to turn over records under a FISA order are prohibited from disclosing the request for the information.

Section 215 of the Patriot Act allows the FBI director to “make an application for an order requiring the production of any tangible things (including books, records, papers, documents, and other items) for an investigation to protect against international terrorism or clandestine intelligence activities, provided that such investigation of a United States person is not conducted solely upon the basis of activities protected by the first amendment to the Constitution.”

On February 11, 2009, less than one month after Obama took office, a federal lawsuit was filed against Verizon by two New Jersey attorneys who claimed that Verizon had violated the U.S. Constitution and the Telecommunications Act of 1996, which contains multiple provisions and mandates enforced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).  The attorneys also wanted to know “President Bush’s role in the program.”

On Thursday, in yet another revelation, The Washington Post reported that “U.S. intelligence” is “mining data from nine U.S. internet companies” as part of a “broad, secret program.”  One of the authors, Barton Gellman, is the same person who wrote a lengthy piece on the “secret world of extreme militias” for TIME Magazine dated September 30, 2010, which included Gellman’s version of the citizen’s arrest conducted on the Monroe County, TN acting grand jury foreman by Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III.

In his piece, Gellman curiously referred to Gary Pettway as “the real grand jury foreman,” failing to mention that Pettway had been installed by a judge more than 27 years before in violation of state law.  Gellman’s article falsely depicted two Navy veterans, Darren Wesley Huff and Fitzpatrick, who were attempting to expose systemic judicial corruption in eastern Tennessee, as two “extremists” who had taken the law into their own hands.

Gellman did not report that a citizen’s arrest is legal in Tennessee, nor did he interview Fitzpatrick or Huff to obtain their side of the story.  At the time, Gellman was apparently satisfied with presenting the information provided to him by the Obama regime.

Since at least 2008, the Obama organization has “controlled the media.”  Adolf Hitler took control of the media with his far-reaching propaganda which demonized the Jews and eventually exterminated millions of innocent people.  He “controlled the mass media.”

In Oceania, where Big Brother ruled, “each man is a coded number and the telescreens spy on every activity.”

Big Brother’s speeches were “rewritten and submitted to higher authorities for editing” after people disappeared and history revised to the regime’s advantage.

In The Post’s article on Thursday, Gellman and co-author Laura Poitras reported that a secret internet surveillance program entitled “PRISM” was revealed to the newspaper by “a career intelligence officer” who believed that the government was invading Americans’ right to privacy.  The program reportedly included “Power Point slides” which explain the initiative, which gathers data from Facebook, Skype, email accounts, graphics, and “a person’s movements and contacts over time.”

In “1984,” “the telescreen received and transmitted simultaneously. Any sound that Winston made, above the level of a very low whisper, would be picked up by it, moreover, so long as he remained within the field of vision which the metal plaque commanded, he could be seen as well as heard. There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever they wanted to. You had to live — did live, from habit that became instinct — in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized.”

In April 2012, sources leaked to The Post & Email the training program being used to “educate” Tennessee law enforcers about “Sovereign Citizens,” who were characterized as dangerous law-breakers, promoters of illegal financial schemes, tax evaders, and murderers.  Fitzpatrick and Huff were pictured in the Power Point section of the program as criminals with a reference to the citizen’s arrest of Pettway to support the contention.  The training materials were circulated despite an upcoming trial for Huff at which law enforcers who assisted in their assembly eventually testified and committed perjury.

The FBI’s website confirms the existence of its surveillance of “Sovereign Citizens,” which includes individuals quoting from the U.S. Constitution, the Bible, U.S. Supreme Court cases, and “treaties with foreign governments.”

Eric Holder said he knew nothing about reporters’ phone records having been seized, yet he approved the order to subpoena Fox News reporter James Rosen’s emails and telephone calls as well as those of his parents, naming him a “criminal co-conspirator” in an alleged national security leak case.

Huff was arrested and prosecuted on what the FBI claimed he had been thinking in April 2010 and is now serving a four-year federal prison sentence for a crime which never happened.  Media propaganda on Huff’s case is still widely disseminated.

Tea Party and other “conservative” groups were targeted by the IRS for delays and harassment in response to their applications for tax-exempt status, which have now been traced to an IRS attorney in Washington, DC.

Operation Vigilant Eagle was launched by the Department of Defense and FBI just before Obama took office to watch for “veterans” who might become “radicalized.”  Veterans have reportedly been “targeted” for gun confiscation by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).  Some have been jailed for no reason.

Armed federal and state agents now search homes and terrorize citizens without a warrant. The Army violates the Posse Comitatus Act and the general in charge is promoted.

There are shootings, terrorist attacks, explosions and government raids on private companies.  Franchise owners are robbed of their livelihoods, and stockholders are cheated of their holdings.

In Orwell’s “1984,” people disappeared, history revised, and intimidation techniques used routinely.  “A new poster had suddenly appeared all over London. It had no caption, and represented simply the monstrous figure of a Eurasian soldier, three or four metres high, striding forward with expressionless Mongolian face and enormous boots, a submachine gun pointed from his hip. From whatever angle you looked at the poster, the muzzle of the gun, magnified by the foreshortening, seemed to be pointed straight at you. The thing had been plastered on every blank space on every wall, even outnumbering the portraits of Big Brother.”

The alleged search for leakers of national security secrets has resulted in no arrests or persons of interest.  After the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee named “the White House” as the source of the leaks, she quickly retracted her statement the following day.

The terrorists who attacked a U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012 have not yet been apprehended.  Because the Obama regime misrepresented the facts about the attack which killed four Americans, an FBI investigation was severely delayed and hampered.  The regime will not say where Obama was on that evening, but the following month, two military officers were relieved of duty after refusing to obey his “stand-down” order which prevented help from reaching the Benghazi victims.

An IRS attorney is a member of The Fogbow, which identified Huff and Fitzpatrick as “extremists” prepared to “take over the [Monroe County] courthouse” when no such plan had been devised.  The IRS later garnished Fitzpatrick’s military pension by two-thirds without first contacting him about any taxes which might have been due.

A “White House attorney” was identified as having been a member and guest host for The Fogbow’s radio show, Reality Check, in 2010.

In 2008, when questions arose over Obama’s constitutional eligibility, anyone expressing doubt about his birthplace or life story was ridiculed, insulted, defamed, and threatened. Journalists were threatened with their careers or worse.  The Post & Email has compelling evidence that its office telephone has been tapped for more than a year, and we have been told by reliable sources that the phones of other researchers and reporters investigating Obama’s background are also under surveillance.

Children have been seized from their parents, placed with strangers, robbed of their religious identity, and auctioned off to benefit the state.  Obama’s Education Department touts the value of preschool for four-year-olds.  “Common Core” has been initiated in most states, with parents unaware of the “data mining” element of the program.

In “1984,” schoolchildren regularly observed public hangings and were taught to report their parents to the “Thought Police” for being “traitors” or disloyal to “The Party.”

Members of Congress are beginning to object to “the spectre of the totalitarian Big Brother state.”  But is Big Brother already all-powerful?

Wars and American military deaths continue with Rules of Engagement which prevent U.S. military members from defending themselves.  New wars are begun and arms are shipped secretly to members of enemy organizations.

Last weekend, Cold Case Posse lead investigator Michael Zullo demonstrated to approximately 300 law enforcers and elected officials that Obama’s long-form Hawaii birth certificate is fraudulent, along with his Selective Service registration card.  A private presentation to approximately 60 credentialed individuals who were required to sign a confidentiality agreement was reportedly well-received and convinced some who had been skeptical or non-committal about the birth certificate issue.

Obama promised an “unprecedented” level of “openness in government.”

Is it now so difficult to believe that Obama is not who he says he is?  That his “documentation” is nothing but forgeries?

Obama promised to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.”  A man with no positive identification who could be a citizen of a foreign country and has been accused of treason multiple times appears to have carried out his promise.

The Post & Email is not alone in saying that “Big Brother is watching you.”
