THE TIME TO DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY IS NOW!

from a concerned citizen of Los Angeles County

The Board of County Supervisors describes itself as “the governing body of the County of Los Angeles” and serves more than 10,000,000 residents

(Jun. 3, 2013) — WHEN:  Tuesday, JUNE 4TH, 9:30 am

WHERE:  500 Temple Street, Room 381B, Los Angeles, CA 90012, Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration

A CALL TO PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, CAREGIVERS, ADVOCATES AND THE COMMUNITY

WHY??

The time to demand accountability is now!! We ask the LA County Board of Supervisors to stop wasting public resources on policies and procedures that are endangering our children!!

Children in need of protection are dying because LA County Department of Children & Families Services is too busy detaining children from good homes, harassing fit parents, threatening loving grandparents, and supportive caregivers – ultimately, LEAVING THE CHILDREN IN NEED OF PROTECTION IN BAD HOMES TO DIE!

Our social service agencies must stop the fraudulent practice of making false allegations of neglect and abuse, lying under perjury, fabricating evidence, harassing and intimidating fit and caring parents. Far too often parents are falsely accused of abuse and neglect by DCFS only for the intended purpose to make children dependent of the state, put them in foster care and for the agency to receive the federal funding match-up. The foster care system is in shambles. Far too often, children are abused and neglected in foster homes more than if placed with fit family members!

Its time to stop ignoring or completely disregarding the use of exaggerated and made up allegations against protective parents also driven by financial incentives that leaves children vulnerable and in the custody of abusers. Social workers should not be promoted for wrongdoing and encouraged to unlawfully detain children from fit homes.

BE THERE AND BE HEARD!!!!!!!

Editor’s Note:  In other news regarding child protective services in the state of California, Assemblyman Tim Donnelly is encouraging the public to “come out to the Capitol on Wednesday to demand an audit of CPS!”  Contained in his Facebook page note is a photo of the Nikolaev family, whose baby boy was taken from the parents’ custody improperly and quickly gained international attention.
