WHAT ARE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WORTH?

by OPOVV, ©2013

Is the targeting of organizations because of their perceived “conservatism” limited to Lois Lerner and those she supervised, or was it more widespread?

(May 26, 2013) — When a person tells you they’ve broken no laws but will plead the 5th Amendment, bells and whistles should go off, and at the very least a giant gong should sound while someone from stage left should yank that person out of the hot seat into the realm of the unemployed, at a bare minimum.

When Lois Lerner embarrassed herself in front of the Congressional Committee probing into the IRS, she made a crystal clear example of the difference between working in the government vs. working in the private sector. Had she been working in the private sector and her boss asked her a question, she’d be fired, terminated on the spot, benefits gone, including pension, had she answered pleading the 5th.

The government equates the pay scales of its jobs with private sector jobs, minus a little cash but with great benefits. For instance, Lerner said she was in charge of 900 people and earned $200,000 a year, and in the private sector she’d be earning much more.

Wrong. Very, very wrong, and here’s why.

In the private sector you can’t be cheating and lying and telling your boss that you refuse to answer any questions regarding your decisions directly affecting the company. You can’t be grilled by your boss with your lawyer sitting behind you. And when your boss doesn’t get any answers, you just can’t get up and walk away.

So what is Lois Lerner really worth in the private sector? Zero, because there’s no room for people who say one thing and mean another. There’s just too much competition in the private sector to put up with the shenanigans that Lois Lerner publicly displayed.

So you receive a letter from the government, maybe from your local City Hall, maybe from your State. No matter where it’s from, the person who authorized the letter should have his or her name on it, and why not an address, too?  After all, that person has yours.  Home phone number: they have yours. No more hiding behind giant concrete walls, anonymously terrorizing the populace.

“The reason I pulled you over, Mr. OPOVV, was that you were clocked over the speed limit. Oh, and here’s my card with my address, because I now know yours and we want, above all, to be fair, and not just give the impression that we are.”

You say I jest? No, I do not. Had I been elected as your President, every letter that you may have received from the government, City Hall, the State, VA, under my Administration would have that person’s name, address, phone number and every bit of information about themselves as they have on you.

No more hiding, even behind the 5th Amendment. Our government employees, the President, Joint Chief of Staff members, judges, and everyone else are suffering from “Systemic Dereliction of Duty” to the Constitution. If government employees, starting with the President, can’t be honest, FIRE THEM.

Bingo! It is 100 % correct that Lois Liar is worth Zero dollars in a private sector position. I have been there and done that ….. fired people for intentionally falsifying their ” timecard” and consistently lying over a several week period about HOURS WORKED. Investigations and confirmed facts took about 10 to 15 days! You are fired!! Now that is accountability and consequences in the private sector.
