IS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS ALL ABOUT CONTROL?

(Apr. 13, 2013) — Political Correctness, otherwise known as “PC,” is a feeble attempt from people who lost their inner survival drive for the “The Hunt” to think they’re an accepted member of a larger group. These weak souls are followers, the scavengers of bones and offal, marching in step with those like-minded, mob-frenzied, numbed people who yell phrases with ambiguous meanings, such as “Yes we can!” and “Change!” Of course asking these people to define political phrases would, in itself, be politically incorrect, but we’ll give it a try just the same.

“You there, excuse me, but what’s this ‘fundamentally changing America’ all about?”

“It’s about equality, about a certain segment of the population getting more than their fair share, and payback.”

“So then, if you’re a white man, no drugs, educated, a veteran who is literate in English, no record, and find yourself homeless and in need of medical help, let’s say four abscessed teeth, it’s quite alright to deny that person help from all governmental health programs because of his skin color, yet allow illegal immigrants and “people of color” free medical access.  Is that what you’re advocating?”

“That’s right. The Constitution was written by a bunch of old men centuries ago and the Civil Rights Act was passed during the last century and so has no bearing on what’s happening today, so they gets what’s coming to them.”

Reform when no reform is wanted or needed isn’t “reform;” it’s just a numbers game at our expense, PUN INTENDED. You see, whenever a politician uses the word “reform,” you’re being told that you’re about to lose something, usually money, with the end result that our public education system is sliding down yet another notch on actually teaching Johnny how to do “The Three R’s.”

You see, the connotation of the word “reform” is usually thought of as “fixing, improving, tweaking so as to make better,” but Washington drastically misuses the word so that nowadays, whenever thinking people hear “reform,” they think “Stand by, here comes another Big Lie.”

There’s no “Immigration Reform.” There is, however, rewarding illegal immigrants with a free pass on breaking our immigration laws. Look at it this way: let’s say, for clarity’s sake, all of the illegal immigrants wore uniforms other than a sombrero, maybe an olive drab shirt, trousers and baseball cap, would this so-called “Reform” be so welcomed by PC idiots? Same with Muslims. Dress every Muslim woman in one of those black Halloween costumes with a mosquito net in front of their faces and the men with long scraggly beards carrying a blooded scimitar, how ’bout that? Would this so-called “Immigration Reform” be so wonderful then?

Gun Control is yet another political phrase that doesn’t have anything to do with guns but everything to do about control. Let’s pretend you’re a criminal who thinks it’s better to live one’s life rolling the dice about how many years are to be spent living in a cage (along with a bunch of like-minded losers) and you make your “living” with a gun. Being a criminal, you don’t register your gun, unless someday the PC police will require that all criminals register their weapons; now there’s a laugh.

You’re a career convenience store robber by day and a rapist at night. You’re a full-blown criminal and you know, and I know, and everybody knows that if you want a gun, you can get a gun, anywhere, anytime: all it takes is money. So all this gun control hot air doesn’t affect you, the criminals of the world. Heck, they can make a law a day restricting this and that about who can or cannot have guns; who cares? It’s like locks: locks aren’t for honest people, they’re for dishonest people. Weed out the dishonest and do away with locks, and, for that matter, 99% of the police.  Do us of all a world of good.

Bottom line? Me? Everyone should have a gun, especially women. I’d make it when she graduates from high school she’s given some lightweight 357 Magnum to carry in her purse and, in order to get a driver’s license, she’d show her loaded weapon and her current conceal carry permit.

Political Correctness will be the death of America unless you speak up; call it what it is. If you’re afraid of offending anyone, chances are that person needs to be offended.

Reform for blatant illegal immigrants (see how they run!) gets in my craw. I don’t believe rewarding lawbreakers, and I don’t like it when the money they get in the US is sent out of our country.

Gun Control: can’t say it any better than by Jesus, Luke 22:36. “He who has no sword, let him sell his garment and get one.” There’s nothing in Christianity that says you have to go through life stupid. As Sergeant Stryker in “The Sands of Iwo Jima,” John Wayne said, “Life is hard but it’s a lot harder if you’re stupid.” Be smart; protect yourself. Give yourself and each of your family a gift that’ll last a lifetime: a weapons safety course and a gun.
