“A SORRY FOOTNOTE”

Has Obama’s cabinet had the best interests of the United States in mind, or do they serve for a different reason?

(Dec. 8, 2012) — Just the other day we read where two little girls, cousins, were found murdered after being missing for a year. I can’t begin to imagine the pain a parent goes through burying a child: it’s supposed to be the other way around. There are many senseless things in our world, but there is nothing as senseless as the premeditated murder of a child, unless, of course, an equally senseless act, which would be a Muslim “honor killing.”

Our government’s resources are squandered on wasteful fanciful adventures that offer no customer (that’s us) satisfaction. Our country, our home, is supposed to be a safe place in which to raise our children, but look around: somehow the inmates became the wardens and guards. We have marginal people (politicians with absolutely no sense of right or wrong, only a sense of whatever they feel is good for them) supposedly representing us in the halls of the legislative world, but I don’t see anybody representing me.

I wish somebody would be in my corner, and at the beginning I thought Allen West would be the standard-bearer for our Constitution, but weren’t we all disappointed when we didn’t hear a peep from the brave veteran about LTC Terry Lakin and Obama’s yet-to-be-produced Birth Certificate?

Drones, thousands of little Obama Hitler Nazi “Yes We Can” youth spying on model citizens, spying on patriots, spying on supporters of the Constitution, spying on gun owners, veterans, people who write “Letter to the Editor” and cite the unending corruption, bribes, stimulus, payoffs, kickbacks, police everywhere except where they would do the most good, where they’re needed, what they got hired to do in the first place: supposedly keep the peace and apprehend criminals. You don’t have to be in Africa to be in the jungle: just visit South Side Chicago on a Saturday night with a full moon.

God forbid if someone calls a “Christmas tree” a “Christmas tree.” Boycott the place that sells “Holiday trees” and the same with any other business. If they say “Happy Holidays,” wish them a “Merry Christmas!” and say it loudly, I mean really loudly, so everyone hears it. I do.

The best gift you can give someone, anyone, this Christmas is the hope that this nightmare called Obama will someday be a sorry footnote where the United States swayed from the path of Freedom and almost slid down to the pit of Socialism/Communism/Totalitarianism. That’s right, give a gun, ammo, survival gear, flashlight and batteries, any gift that has to do with survival to those you care about.

Our country’s resources are being directed at making our problems worse, not better. There’s no reason why the government can’t be run like any successful business, and it can’t be successful if you have to continually borrow money to stay afloat.

Congress should pass a flat sales tax and eliminate the IRS, the DHS and at least half the Federal employees, render null and void everything (Obamacare) that Obama and the Congress had a hand in since 2009, and as the government saves money, becomes more efficient, just like any successful business, the Flat Tax would decrease, thereby giving a 1:1 incentive for our government’s employees to create efficiency rather than not giving a darn. A “Balanced Budget” is actually a reality, but not with the clowns we have in Washington these days, starting with the clown who goes by the name of Obama…Are you listening, NSA? And if our NSA has nothing better to do than to spy on us, maybe they ought to try and catch child murderers and leave us law-abiding citizens alone; that is, if they’ve the ability.

In 2010 my wife had Allen West’s full attention, one-on-one, for about five minutes where she lectured him and told about the Constitution’s Article II. Section 1. Clause 5. He listened very intense, smile to her, nodded in agreement. When follow up on his weekly e-mails to us and confronted several times, he was as silence as a live oyster clamed together. You may see the reason for that on my postin at the article before this!!!
