“IT CAN HAPPEN HERE”

(Oct. 27, 2012) — Today’s purveyors of Truth can be compared to yesterday’s fortune teller, the Shaman who throws chicken bones upon the ground and declares “You’ve got twins!”, the Oracle of Delphi who was known far and wide for telling Tall Tales which, somehow, came to pass, or by old stories passed from generation to generation, like “Peter and the Wolf ” and “Smoking Will Kill You.”
It’s too bad that the presidential election campaign speeches are televised, because it lets the world know what our lowest common denominator is. While the rest of the world is mobilizing for the future, America is gung-ho on “Touchy and Feely.” While Americans are being tortured and killed by a crazed worldwide belief system, here at home if you mention certain words on a radio interview, you’re immediately hung-up on: words such as “Federal Reserve,” “clean water,” “no money for foreign aid,” “the moon walk wasn’t done in Hollywood,” and “1,400 years of oppression.”
The Barbarians are knocking on the gates and we’re debating health care, which would be appropriate if the health care we’re debating was the immanent condition of our heads being attached to our bodies, but it’s not: we’re debating health care in 2014, or in 2016. In 1965 I found myself in what I would describe as a perilous position which would preclude any speculation on future activities that would require breathing as a prerequisite. When one finds himself with his back against the wall, the subject of discussion is nothing but what happens next and not pipe dreams, not a fantasy scenario with swimming pools filled with Hollywood starlets. No, what takes place is talk of survival, and nothing but. Water is often mentioned, as is how many of whatever you have left is talked to the nth degree, and then rehashed again and again, and then again. None of this “I didn’t know” or skipping steps; never “D” before “C.” You play by the numbers because if you don’t, you’ll get somebody killed or maimed, so you don’t skip steps: by the book means you win whatever the cost, because there’s no such thing as Second Place.
Fast forward to 2012, and what do we see? We see a nation in denial, we see people voting who have no idea what they are voting for or what they are voting against. There are issues not being debated, not being discussed, not seeing the light of day, issues that are paramount in the country’s future, our future, your children’s future. This is even hard for me to believe, but a member of my own family still believes that Islam is a religion, and cites the First Amendment in his support for Islam’s despicable track record when it comes to human rights, let alone women’s rights.
If this Barry Soetoro aka Obama Clown wins the 2012 presidential election, he’ll take the Oath on the Quran (the same one he took the Oath on behind closed White House doors on January 20, 2009) in full public view where he’ll publicly reveal himself as a Muslim. We can all kiss women’s rights goodbye: welcome Sharia, and any criticisms will be construed as blasphemous, then your goose is cooked. There will be no women’s rights, absolutely none, so if any woman votes for Obama, all they’re doing, figuratively and literally, is cutting their own throats. All these reports, stories, pictures, films of honor killings are true, so now that we know, what woman would vote for beatings, disfigurements, and death for themselves, their children and grandchildren? Show me a woman who would be pro-Muslim (pro-Obama) and I’ll show you someone who just doesn’t get it, doesn’t understand that it CAN HAPPEN HERE. THEY’RE AT THE GATES AND WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
