Breaking: Report: CIA Agents in Benghazi Denied Assistance from Chain of Command During Attack

BENGHAZI FALLOUT:  WILL OBAMA, HILLARY AND OTHERS BE CHARGED WITH TREASON?

(Oct. 26, 2012) — Fox News is reporting that CIA agents working in the annex close to the Benghazi outpost on September 11, 2012 called for help through their chain of command three times but were refused and told to “stand down.”

Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, who were ultimately killed in the attack, “ignored those orders” with two other people and tried to rescue Ambassador Christopher Stevens and intelligence specialist Sean Smith, both of whom were killed.  Military assistance was requested and reportedly denied.

Woods and Tyrone were hit by a mortar and killed after the attack had continued for seven hours.

The attack was initially blamed on an obscure internet video by the White House, State Department and United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice.  For more than two weeks, the video was cited as the source of the violence, although emails obtained by various major news outlets earlier this week demonstrated that FBI, CIA, White House, and State Department officials knew that a terrorist attack had taken place on the outpost in Benghazi.

Woods and Doherty had been depicted by Susan Rice as part of a security team for the Benghazi location when they were actually employed by the State Department in tracking where thousands of weapons had gone after Muommar Gaddafi was toppled from power in the early spring of last year.

At 12:10 p.m. EDT, The Post & Email contacted the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee at (202) 225-5074 and asked to speak with the media representative.  We were connected right away and informed her of the Fox News report published at 11:27 a.m.  We suggested that an immediate hearing be held by the committee and the entire Congress and that charges of treason be drafted against Hillary Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama, and anyone in the CIA who refused to provide assistance during the attack once they knew it had been requested.

Obama has already been accused of treason on multiple occasions for aiding and abetting the enemies of the United States.  He has shown himself to be sympathetic to Islamics by hosting members of The Muslim Brotherhood and other front groups at the White House.  Various reports also state that the U.S. is supplying weapons to the “opposition” in Syria, which is a mix of those wanting democratic freedoms and jihadists, some of whom have spent time in prison at Guantanamo Bay.

Commentator Glenn Beck has predicted that some will “go to prison” over the Benghazi debacle and that charges of treason are a possibility.

U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan are on a mission to rout out members of the Taliban, but similar groups have caused violence in Libya, and it is believed that Ansar al-Sharia, an Al Qaeda offshoot, committed the destruction of the building where Stevens was found.  Escalating violence in Libya had been documented by Amb. Stevens and others employed at the embassy in Tripoli, but the State Department denied its employees the additional security requested by Stevens and Eric Nordstrom, former regional coordinator for security in Libya.  It has been reported that the U.S. is supplying weapons to members of Al Qaeda in Syria and that Stevens might have played a part in transporting the weapons, knowingly or unknowingly, into the hands of the very people we are asking our soldiers to fight.

It is suspected, but not conclusively proven, that members of the group Ansar al-Sharia were responsible for the attack in Benghazi.  The White House and other officials were informed within two hours of the commencement of the attack that the terrorist group had claimed responsibility.

Last weekend, an unnamed “U.S. security official” allegedly said on the eve of the last presidential debate that the video might still have played a part in the violence, which was yet a third explanation as to what had occurred on the night of September 11, the eleventh anniversary of the largest attack on U.S. soil on September 11, 2001, which killed nearly 3,000 people.

Nordstrom had testified on October 10 in front of the House Oversight Committee that “For me, the Taliban is on the inside of the building.”

Article III, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution states of treason against the United States:

Section 3.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.
