NUMEROUS THREATS ON TWITTER OF RIOTS AND WORSE SHOULD ROMNEY WIN
by Sharon Rondeau
(Oct. 17, 2012) — Infowars has published a series of reports on threats made against Mitt Romney should he win the presidential election on November 6, the latest of which was published on October 16. It is unclear if the latest threats were made before or after last night’s presidential debate.
As a result of the troubling reports, The Post & Email called the U.S. Secret Service at 8:48 a.m. EDT. The Secret Service is a division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and is responsible for the protection of presidential candidates and former presidents.
The person answering the phone connected us to a media representative whose voice mail came on right away. In our voice message, we mentioned where the reports had been published, the nature of what The Post & Email does, including “the Obama eligibility/identity issue” at the very end of our message. We also said that if an email address had been included in his voice greeting, we would have forwarded the links from Infowars.
Almost immediately, we received a call back from the media representative at the Secret Service. He gave us his email address and asked that we send the appropriate links, which we did. He made another comment but said that nothing was “on the record” as of yet, so we will not divulge it at this time.
Upon ending the call, the media person said, “Thank you, Sharon.”
After sending the email and publishing this article, we received the following email from the Secret Service media contact:
Thanks Sharon, appreciate it.
I do believe that if this jerk gets re-elected, I will be making plans to leave this country.
Good job. Nice to see.
It’s really strange how an unknown identity is able to be potus and continue to ruin and loot taxpayers coffers and destroy peoples lives financially but a threat to a to be potus will be checked right away. How fast did they check on ltcdr walt fitzpatrick when he was getting death threats and illegal false arrests? Lots of double standards here aside from smoke and mirrors.with so many government departments, who’s on first? We know it’s not the taxpayers.
“Homeland Security graduates first Corps of Homeland Youth
October 7, 2012. Vicksburg. The federal government calls them FEMA Corps. But they conjure up memories of the Hitler Youth of 1930’s Germany. Regardless of their name, the Dept of Homeland Security has just graduated its first class of 231 Homeland Youth. Kids, aged 18-24 and recruited from the President’s AmeriCorp volunteers, they represent the first wave of DHS’s youth corps, designed specifically to create a full time, paid, standing army of FEMA Youth across the country.”
