Obama Asks Band to Serenade Him and Michelle While the Middle East Burns

COMMANDER OR NARCISSIST?

(Sep. 14, 2012) — Barack Hussein Obama signaled to a band to strike up the music to welcome a team of Olympians and Paralympians to the White House while U.S. and European embassies in the Middle East were torched and attacked earlier today.  Obama received a U.S. Olympic flag in a photo-op with Michelle on the South Lawn.

Obama’s meeting with the athletes followed two attacks three days ago on U.S. embassies in Libya and Egypt, respectively, on the eleventh anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on U.S. soil.  Four diplomats were killed, with reports surfacing of brutality against at least one. Four people have been arrested who may or may not have a connection to the crimes.

On Wednesday, the day after the attacks, Obama told his audience during a campaign stop in Nevada that it had been “a tough day” and continued his plans to campaign in Colorado.

Following his meeting with the Olympians, Obama was scheduled to have lunch with putative Vice President Joe Biden.

At 1:25 p.m., Obama was due to go to Joint Base Andrews to prepare for the reception of the remains of four diplomats killed in the embassy attack on Tuesday along with Hillary Clinton.  At least four U.S. embassies have been attacked since Tuesday.

He will attend a “private fundraiser” this evening for his re-election campaign.

Since taking office, Obama has attended less than half of the scheduled national security briefings.  Does he even care about U.S. national security?
