AS WE PRAY FOR HIS FAMILY AND THOSE OF THE OTHER VICTIMS

by Sharon Rondeau

Attacks in Cairo, Egypt and Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012 were followed by similar attacks in Yemen, Iran and Iraq on Wednesday and Thursday

(Sep. 14, 2012) — J. Christopher Stevens was the envoy to the Libyan “opposition” during the Arab Spring uprisings and subsequently became the envoy to Libya during its transitional period.  He had intended to see a “free, democratic, prosperous Libya” emerge from the upheaval following the overthrow of Libyan dictator Muommar Gaddafi in February 2011.

Stevens worked at the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, where the revolution against Gaddafi began last year.  An attorney and career diplomat, Stevens was fluent in Arabic and French and had spent considerable time in the Middle East.

The Post & Email does not routinely report on graphic, violent crime.  However, varying accounts of how Stevens died have arisen since Tuesday’s attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya, which killed Stevens and three other embassy employees, and we wish to find the truth as to what occurred and whether or not initial reports were correct.

As early as Tuesday evening EDT, reports surfaced that one employee had been killed, later identified as Stevens. Early reports appeared to indicate that Stevens died inside the embassy from rocket-propelled grenades and machine-gun fire perpetrated by terrorists.  Another article stated that Stevens died while being taken to a different location and targeted with “gunfire.”  If Stevens was attacked while in a car, how did he die of suffocation from a fire?

Initial reports said that doctors spent 90 minutes trying to revive Stevens after he suffered smoke inhalation.  Subsequent reports indicate that several Libyan civilians attempted to rescue Stevens after he became unconscious.  Another report describes a very different scenario.

CBS stated that Stevens was taken to a medical center with “severe asphyxia” but “no other injuries.”  Some have opined that the widely-circulated photo of Stevens possibly being assisted by civilians was published for sensationalism.

A blogger called the attacks in Benghazi and Cairo “tiny demonstrations.”  Another had video and photographs of what he claimed were examples of the horrendous treatment of Stevens both before and after he died.

Rather than a spontaneous uprising of angry Muslims purportedly stemming from a video which they viewed as insulting to Islam, several sources have reported that the attacks in Egypt and Libya were carefully planned in advance.

Also killed were two former Navy SEALS and an information management supervisor.

Obama has vowed to pursue “justice” for the deaths of the embassy employees but has not said what that entails.

The Post & Email extends its deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in Libya on Tuesday.

  1. Greta Van Susternen had a guest on her show, Friday evening on Fox. The guest asserted that the ambassador had died of Suffocation INSIDE the compound. There is a photo, however, among others too sad for words, which does show a bloody wound under Stevens’ left arm which can clearly be seen. The guest’s assertion was swift as if to dissuade listeners from thinking there had been torture, perhaps as the political fallout from such knowledge would not be good for Obama and worse for Hillary, who, WND is reporting, was the one who did not support Marines in the Libyan Embassy.

  2. If United States authorities knew, as is reported in the UK, that attacks were to happen 48 hours beforehand, did they SET UP the poor ambassador and embassy in Libya (and Egypt) for failure by NOT INFORMING THEM?

Remember, sensitive documents concerning Libyans helping the USA also disappeared…how absolutely convenient!

If one did not just love and respect Bari so much, why, someone MIGHT come to the conclusion that Bari, who is adored and bearhugged by the masses, might have lent the extremists a helping brother-like hand to the detriment of his own country.

…but WAIT…what IS his Country? Where WAS he born, and more importantly, WHAT ARE his True Allegiences?

He certainly does not ACT like a “natural born president” who puts country first.

Why, one might think, if one did not just love and respect Bari, that Bari’s TOP priority is to PRETEND (Taqiyya) to be president in oder to DESTABLIZE the United States.

…but, NO…he is loved and respected too much to think anything like that….isn’t he??
