Why didn't Barack Obama attend his daughter Sasha's birthday party on Sunday? His schedule showed no commitments.

(Jun. 12, 2012) — Obama’s younger daughter celebrated her 11th birthday on Sunday, June 10, 2012, but some news coverage of the event is disappearing.

The link which led to a story in US Magazine is this:  http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/sasha-obama-hosts-11th-birthday-party-at-red-robin-201286  The story may open here:,15bb1c4&icp=1&.intl=us&sig=DfUlbmu89D.UhZTuj661CQ–

An overseas newspaper reported that Sasha celebrated her recent birthday with “mum and friends.”  An article in Essence Magazine shows a photo of the entire family walking together and states, “We hear the cherub-faced cutie celebrated her birthday in style with mom, First Lady Michelle Obama, and sis Malia, at a Red Robin restaurant in Dulles, Virginia.”  Obama will be on the cover of Essence’s July issue.

Another article shows a photo from last December of Obama with his daughters but reports that he did not attend his daughter’s birthday party.

On June 9, a preview article gushed:

Celebrate in grand presidential style, Sasha…or just like any other 11-year-old girl!

Sasha Obama, growing up in the White House can be a lot of pressure. So make sure your father-in-chief gets you the best gifts and have a ball with all your friends today! Happy birthday, Sasha Obama!

In a report on a Fathers’ Day Proclamation made by Barack Obama last year, he is quoted as having lauded fathers who “show up and give it their best.”

Two years ago, Obama gave a speech on the topic of “fatherhood and responsibility.”

It was reported last night that the Obamas were to attend the eighth-grade graduation of their elder daughter, Malia, but that does not appear to have occurred.

When Obama’s wife took the daughters to see Beyonce in Atlantic City several weeks ago, he was also absent, choosing to play golf instead.

  1. Zippy has become his own security problem, with all his proclamations, executive orders, illicit grants, DoJ strong arming and stone walling and of course his latest attempt to start a war between Iran and Israel as a campaign tool hasn’t made the secret service’s job even possible on our shores due to his open borders policies.

The kids better get used to his missing appearances. The White house and big house have different rules.
