“WE CAN’T WAIT ANOTHER FOUR YEARS”

February 17, 2012

Sen. Jim DeMint was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1999-2004 before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004

Dear Senator DeMint,

I am in receipt of your latest email regarding an impending Highway Bill and the planned increased spending by the Federal government, money that simply does not exist.

While I applaud your efforts to keep conservatives informed about the inanity of Congress and its refusal to simply do the right thing, I am totally dismayed with the fact that all we seem to get is more bad news, more warnings, more requests for donations, and more failed efforts to get or keep responsible people and legislation in or from Congress.

Why is Eric Holder still walking around as a free man?  If an American citizen committed just one of his crimes, that person would be in jail inside of a couple of weeks.  And recently 86 Senators voted for NDAA – a clear violation of our Constitutional rights.  Let me assure you that every American knows what this bill means no matter what anyone in Congress tells us about it.  We know the score – we know the game plan and we know what the intended outcome is going to be unless we rise up to protect our rights.  We will not do this willingly – it is being forced upon us, deliberately, by 535 people who were elected by the people to serve the people, their state and to uphold the Constitutions of both.

The current crop of GOP presidential candidates is without a doubt, the most hopeless group of people we could have imagined.  I am totally dismayed that you refused to support Rick Perry, inarguably the most conservative person to enter the race conjoined with your ironical continued efforts to find, vet and financially support more candidates for Congress in the “hope” that you might just succeed; “change” things in Washington; and this time get these kinds of people elected with the anticipation that they too will not be co-opted or shut out once they get to Washington to serve the people that elected them.

America is in dire trouble on all fronts.  Winning the Senate and electing a liberal or big government GOP president will not solve the problems that are going to destroy our nation for good.  We have awakened; we are not stupid and no longer ignorant of how Washington and big money works.  We are sick to death of the veritable circus, the lies and the treasonous actions of those people who make big promises to “fix it” yet only join in the deliberate destruction of what millions have died for.  We are financially, morally and ethically broke.  The people did not do this – those we elected faithfully did it and will continue to do it until there is nothing left of America but the remnants of the original 240-year-old dream of freedom for all.

America rose up in 2009, we demanded our rights and we gave the GOP control the House.  Regular Americans and Tea Party members did this, with very little help from the GOP establishment.  We were laughed at, ignored and in some cases vilified by many members of the GOP at large.  We also know why this was done.  So do you.

Social Security is broke, among many things in our lives.  The people did not cause this to happen and yet we are being forced to ante up more money to pay for the despicable actions of previous Presidents and Congresses that blatantly stole OUR money, willingly, deliberately and with malice.

I have two questions for you, Sir.

  1. Why are you still pursuing a seemingly futile effort to get conservatives elected?
  2. Why do you and Paul Ryan not have the courage to run for the Presidency?

I have already voiced my opinion on your gallant efforts to find good people.  But question number two begs these questions:

-If you believe in saving America,

-If you and Rep Ryan are true Conservatives,

-If you and Rep Ryan know and believe that America is in dire need of stellar leadership,

-If you and Rep Ryan know the score,

-If you and Rep Ryan know how to “fix it” ,

. . . . . . . then I, for one, am truly confused as to why neither of you has the courage to prove your convictions by doing what needs to be done right now!

There is still plenty of time to make the statement that America is waiting for.  There is still time for you and Rep Ryan to team up and lead the Second American Revolution to save America from utter destruction!  That is what you need to do.  That is what America is waiting for.  That is what the current crop of GOP candidates can never and will never do – because they are woefully and completely lacking in credibility, conservatism and Constitutional validity – and it is all based on their records.  The right candidate should have enamored the entire nation by now and yet we are still trying to figure out if any of them is worth a grain a salt in a drowning fuming sea of contradiction, flip-flopping and anti-conservative actions.

You will have our support – all you have to do is choose it.  All you have to do is call Rep. Ryan and make the decision that has been weighing on your minds for years.  We can’t wait another four years for you guys and there is no better team that is ready to lead our great nation back to sanity.

The entire world is waiting for America to wake up and serve a noble purpose.  Are we are looking for George Washington, Ronald Reagan, MP Daniel Hannan?   Surely we are – we are looking for a noble man for dire times.  To be noble is the choice of any man:  will you pick up America’s gauntlet and serve us well?

Thank you for your service to America.

Most Sincerely,

Greg Easley

REMEMBER those who FAILED to defend the CONSTITUTION!

  2. I am seeing an uncanny parallel between what the GOPers (gopers) did to get Wilson elected and what they are doing now? To run a non-candidate to the point of splitting off an independent is tantamount to throwing the election, as they did with Wilson.

We desperately need an independent to run against the Demopublican establishment chosen ones but the candidate must have a chance of success; to not succeed is to seal our fate and guarantee we plunge into third world status.

    Tough choices.

And, of course, there is always the reset button. Are we there yet? My friend Gordon says: “Grab your gun, run outside; if you are alone, it isn’t time yet”.

  3. Mr. DeMint is a party hack, just like all the rest. If those who sent the message in the 2010 election roust refuse to hold “R”s feet to the fire, then we may as well not even waste our time on the 2012 elections. “R”s were told to restore Constitutionality, or they would be our next target after 2010. We said it, now we MUST prove we meant it.
Mr. DeMint knew the score then and now, and IMHO has done little or nothing to earn any respect from those who sent that clear message in 2010.
I hope others will visit John Dummett’s site, and consider sending D.C. the LOUDEST message ever by refusing all “R” hacks and voting for someone who will stand D.C. on it’s head. For those who still want to “revolt” peacefully, walk away from any “R” or “D” proffered candidate, and find those obscure someones who are fighting against the odds to make a difference. They don’t have the money or name recognition of those who run under the mantle of either party, so they are relying on YOU finding out who they are, what they stand for, and making them the new faces of the 113th Congress. Should you fail in your mission…….kiss America good-bye!
