FUNDRAISING LETTER FROM THE DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR’S ASSOCIATION SEEKS DONATIONS TO FIGHT “BIRTHER BILLS”

(Apr. 24, 2011) — It’s a new low. No matter how many times it’s disproven, Republicans still embrace the dangerous conspiracy theory that President Obama wasn’t born in this country and is not eligible to hold office.
It’s just not true. But that hasn’t stopped Republicans in numerous state legislatures from introducing “birther” bills aimed specifically at undermining President Obama. And it hasn’t stopped Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-Louisiana) from promising to sign one of these bills. More and more states are considering these bills. In Indiana, radical Republican legislators have introduced a birther bill, and if it gets to Gov. Mitch Daniels, you know he will be under extreme pressure to kowtow to the Tea Party and sign it.
ENOUGH! Stand with the DGA today against these birther bills. The Republicans need to stay laser-focused on creating jobs and improving the economy, not supporting sideshow issues in order to score cheap political points. Click here to stop these senseless political games. Show Republican governors like Bobby Jindal and Mitch Daniels that you oppose these so-called birther bills.
Our country faces serious challenges, and we need governors focused on putting people back to work and protecting the middle class. Yet we still have radical right-wing figures like Donald Trump and Rush Limbaugh pushing these baseless accusations. Republican governors, eager to score political points, keep these myths alive by refusing to unequivocally say that birtherism isn’t true and that they won’t sign any bills trying to undermine our president. Since they won’t act, it’s up to us to make sure they know the American people are watching.
…stop these senseless political games. Tell Republican governors like Bobby Jindal and Mitch Daniels to veto so-called birther bills every time and everywhere. You and I know that birtherism is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the extreme, hard-right agenda supported by Republican governors across the country.

Response of the Terry Lakin Action Fund
This letter highlights the problem with the entire issue: No matter how many times Dem, Reps, reporters, etc. say that Obama’s eligibility has been proven none of them can demonstrate that it has been proven.
That fact is, it has not been proven. At least not by any legal or investigative methods. Not one legally admissible piece of evidence can be noted in defense of Obama’s eligibility. Why? Because the courts have repeatedly refused to allow any normal requests for discovery (including documents and witnesses) and Obama and his representatives have refused to provide even the most basic documents of confirmation.
In fact, not only have they refused to provide these basic documents, but have gone on to hide all relevant background information on Mr. Obama at great cost to Mr. Obama and US taxpayer.
Finally, it is very interesting that the DGA labels them “Birther Bills.” Why not label them what they are: “Bills that require candidates to prove their compliance with the Constitutional and state guidelines for office.”
Or did the DGA forget that we are a constitutional republic? Are they saying that it is now acceptable for anyone to run for any office in any state without have to prove compliance? It seems that way to us.
Even the most basic of jobs now requires full background checks. Executive and high security positions often demand full investigative research. Is DGA saying that our president, congressman, senators, governors, and other elected officials require employment standards lower than an employee at a fast-food restaurant?
This entire issue is beyond comprehension. The DGA should be demanding that Obama end this squall by providing the requested confirmation, not attacking those who are simply asking for constitutional compliance.

Editor’s Note: A decorated U.S. Army flight surgeon has gone to prison, forfeited all pay and benefits and will be discharged from the military for questioning Obama’s eligibility to serve as President and Commander-in-Chief. The officers who conducted the court-martial refused to allow Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin to obtain discovery following his two-year-old requests to ascertain the legality of his orders.
The home page of the Democratic Governors Association website contains a photo of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and the caption “Stop Birther Bills.” If Obama is eligible, why are they spending time and resources on this issue? Are the Democratic Governors attempting to keep a constitutionally-ineligible person in the White House?
It seems to me that the Democratic Governors Association and all those who believe that Obama is eligible should welcome the passage of “birther bills,” not be working actively to defeat them. After all, if/when Obama provides his “evidence” of natural born citizenship, as required by some new “birther” law, the “birthers” will be exposed for the “fools” that they are, likely giving Obama and the Democrats a big boost in the polls. The fact that the Democratic Governors Association thinks that “birther” bills will undermine his presidency is very telling.
This makes it as plain as the nose on your face that the Dems are running scared. They know the Usurper is not eligible and that letter pretty much admits as much! How obvious can they be!
The BC is not the issue what is at issue is that his father was not a citizen at his birth and the SCOTUSA has stated in several decisions that a natural born citizen is one that is born to parents who are both citizens.
The real reason behind this is the commies are trying to limit free speech. Calling questions about eligibility racist, radical, etc. is a cheap way of trying to smother dissent on this issue which has been the commiecrats have approached things since the Civil War.
They can’t credibly say that it has been proven over and over again that Obama is eligible and then in the same breath say that the bills that require proof of eligibility must be defeated. The Democrats are embarrassing themselves with their double talk.

How do they hold two these opposing thoughts/beliefs at once: Barky is Constitutionally eligible to serve as POTUS and state laws requiring candidates for POTUS to prove or verify Constitutional eligibility to serve as POTUS are being written to undermine Barky?
This is actually just another indicator that the momentum is shifting in favor of those on the side of truth and freedom. The truth will prevail, and the commiecrats know their covertly inserted communist, islamofacist, muslim, criminal usurper is getting very close to being exposed for the fraud and traitor that he is…and they are running scared like rats on a sinking ship. He, LTC Lakin, should have ALL charges dismissed and ALL penalties be restored AND he should be awarded with a VERY HIGH, TAX FREE, cash settlement in the many Millions of dollars. AND, those dollars should come from EVERY person in the Chain of Command that allowed this travesty of Constitutional justice to occurr. EVERY person above LTC Lakin in that chain of command should be given the SAME sentence that Col. Denise Lind delivered as the Judge in his courts martial. Judge Denise Lind should be the exception and HER sentence should be LIFE LONG solitary confinement at Fort Levenworth prison.
Then, for the Patriots of America, whe should have a National Holiday declared as LTC Terrence Lakin day BUT on THIS National holiday, NO State or Federal employees are to receive ANY compensation execpt those in law enforcement AND the military.
I avidly supported both law enforcement and the military at one time. Now all I see are a voluntary bunch of yessirs, winning hearts and minds, rebuilding foreign countries without question and basking in the hero worship from the populace back home.
Until I see some commitment by law enforcement (including Oathkeepers) and the military to protect our constitution and stand with the American people against all unconstitutional acts going on today, I have no use for, lost all respect for and do not support them at all.
Well if people can’t open their eyes now and see that the Dems are fighting this way too hard…then they never will….Obama is not legal and I think this shows it without a shadow of doubt….

“Stop Birther Bills” sponsored by the Democratic Governors Association? Apparently the Democratic Governors Association knows that obama has no evidence that he is a citizen of the United States, much less a Natural Born citizen of the United States! The DGA must be in great fear he won’t be able to run for the White House again if too many states actually require proof of Natural Born Citizenship!
The Democratic governors know all too well what’s going to happen if a few states require the devil to show his birth certificate. The heat will rise on the usurper more than ever, and his chances of reelection will be slim; and the possibiility of punishment for the Oval Office criminal will increase.
I don’t like calling them “birther bills”, or even “eligibility bills”, the more accurate term is, “Barry bills”. Without the obvious usurpation of Obama/Soetoro we would have still needed a way to insure presidential eligibility, which most people wrongly assumed was already being done. However, it took Barry, his enablers and puppet masters pulling off the biggest fraud/scam in history to demonstrate what can happen to the country we love when we abandon the Constitutions requirements for who can hold the job of president of the U.S.A. and commander-in-chief of her military.
We must remove the usurper and take whatever steps necessary to insure in the future that none other than natural born Citizens are allowed to become president, we have seen the results of abandoning that requirement, and it’s not a pretty sight.
