ERRONEOUSLY SAYS ON NATIONAL RADIO THAT BEING “A CITIZEN” IS ENOUGH TO QUALIFY

(Apr. 22, 2011) — On April 21, 2011, former Republican strategist and Fox News contributor Karl Rove lied to the public when he stated on Sean Hannity’s radio show that an eligibility requirement for President of the United States is being “a citizen.”
There are three requirements for the President set fort in the U.S. Constitution in Article II, Section 1, clause 5:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Rove and Hannity were discussing Donald Trump’s possible motives in calling upon Obama to release his original birth certificate, with Rove stating that “that’s exactly what Obama wants conservatives to do.”
How does Karl Rove know what Obama is thinking unless he is speaking with him directly? Why wouldn’t the issue of Obama’s birthplace be of great importance to someone who purportedly would like to defeat Obama in 2012, particularly by exposing his constitutional ineligibility to serve?
But does Rove really want to defeat Obama? Why would he not want deception on the part of the Democrats exposed?
Rove has termed Trump a “joke candidate” with “thin skin.” On Rove’s own website, Rove labels Trump a “businessman turned birther.”
However, as a potential presidential candidate, Trump has publicly been calling on Obama to release his original, long-form birth certificate for a month and has not backed down, having presented his own short-form and long-form birth certificates several weeks ago. Trump has even offered to release his tax returns if Obama releases his original birth certificate.
However, the state of Hawaii is now denying long-form birth certificate copies to those requesters possessing “a direct and tangible interest in the record,” in violation of HRS 338.
Rove is not the only pundit or media figure trying to marginalize those who have questioned Obama’s lack of transparency in regard to his school records, university records, birth records, citizenship, passport records (article from Newsmax link scrubbed), and the fact that the U.S. State Department refuses to release information on his alleged mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, during the time in which Obama supposedly was born.
There have also been numerous reports that Obama is using a social security number originally issued in Connecticut.
An editorial masquerading as news by Aliyah Shahid in The New York Daily News termed Trump “the head of the birther chorus” and described one of Trump’s responses to an interview with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos as “a wee bit testy.”
Sarah Palin has lent Trump some lukewarm support of his demand for Obama to release his records.
Former Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle and former Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino have stated that Obama’s original birth certificate is on file with the Health Department, but more recently, now-Governor Neil Abercrombie has said it cannot be located. Neither Abercrombie nor his Lt. Governor, Brian Schatz, will return phone calls or answer letters about the subject.
Bill O’Reilly of Fox News has also tried to diminish the significance of Obama’s missing documentation which Trump has demanded be released. Trump has stated that he has investigators in Hawaii and that they “cannot believe what they’re finding.”
“Conservative” pundit Ann Coulter has ridiculed those questioning Obama’s eligiblity since 2009, and, despite being an attorney herself, has disregarded the historical meaning of “natural born Citizen” by referring only to Obama’s birthplace as the qualifying factor.
This writer sent the following email to Rove today via his Contact form:
You were incorrect when you stated on air yesterday that one of the qualifications to be President of the United States is to be “a citizen.” If that were the case, Arnold Schwarzenegger certainly could have run for and been elected President any time after he was naturalized, which was many years ago.
Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution states unequivocally that “No person, except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
The second term, “Citizen of the United States,” was a “grandfather clause” allowing those born in Great Britain who had fought the American Revolution and founded the United States to become President if they so chose. The first term, “natural born Citizen,” is a higher standard than simply “Citizen;” otherwise, it wouldn’t have been expressed differently. John Jay, the first U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice, urged the founders to include that term to ensure that the President and Commander-in-Chief had sole allegiance to the United States.
Why have you and others been covering this up for almost three years? Did you make a deal with the Democrats to hide Obama’s ineligibility? We know he is ineligible because his father was never a U.S. citizen. Therefore, the real problem is not where Obama was born but rather, his non-U.S.-citizen father.
Those who have attempted to hide the truth from the American people are being exposed more each day. Your attempt to marginalize those who seek the truth is disingenuous and very bad judgment.

On the same day that Rove erroneously stated that all one needed to be is a “citizen,” Alan Keyes was a guest on The Fox Business Network with David Asman and explained the differences between “citizen” and “natural born Citizen,” stating that “the birth certificate is only part of it.” He added, “The Constitution trumps elections.”
Asman agreed with Keyes that Obama’s disregard for established American norms “leads to some suspicion” about Obama’s eligibility.
Perhaps in the end, it will not be a joke, but rather, “treason.”

I hope so, but this definitely falls into the “I’ll believe it when it happens” category.
While all this debate goes on back and forth, and all the name calling like “Birthers” by the left: (1.) Lets not forget Obama said on page 26 of ‘Dreams From My Father,’ that he flat out found his own birth certificate. That means he knows exactly where it is, and for some very compelling reasons, does not want us to see it. (2.) His first act once in office was to sign the Executive Order on 1-21 that everyone should read. That EO was drafted by Obama and most likely other attorneys and legal minds far in advance of his swearing in, as it is very detailed, and written like an attorney writes and thinks, to prevent as much of Obama’s past history from being disclosed. I have researched this area and can not find any other President that felt the need to sign such an order at all, let alone the day after they were sworn in. That EO speaks loudly, and yet I have not even heard Trump refer to it yet, and no one ever seems to refer to it. Few have even read it. It shows the degree of planning going far back by Obama, to cover up his past from all of us. He just said last week that he went through schools like Columbia and Harvard on scholarships, yet many reports are that he was an average student and his grades show it. Scholar-ships are usually based on top grades, or who you know. Since he doesn’t want anyone to see his grades, gee what is the other criteria? Also, we now know he went to Columbia one year, not the two years he has reported for years.(Orly Taitz-Clearing House documents). What if a Hawaii long form BC finally pops up showing he was born there, and not in Kenya? Most alleged intelligent people and the media (not one and the same) will say ‘See, he was telling the truth all the time.’ So what! If they do not under-stand the Constitutional criteria for NBC, and just think if he was born in a US state that is all it takes, many will consider this issue as solved. Even many of our elected represen-tatives either do not understand the criteria to be a NBC, or have chosen not to read the details and history, or do not want to admit it. Obama is so sure of himself he is running again folks. America will be lucky if it survives his first term, but I see no way it can take a second term. American citizens need to read their own Constitution, and then read Obama’s Executive Order, and keep in mind he signed it one day after being sworn in.

Obama DID NOT produce a Hawaiian Birth Certificate which is know as a Certificate of Live Birth.

Obama showed us a Certification of Live Birth which only certifies but does not prove he was born on planet Earth but NOT WHERE. His Certification of Live Birth is also out of sequence proving it was requested by a relative for ID purposes after he was born. Hawaii issues these to anyone without a Certificate of Live Birth and they are not generated by the hospitals in Hawaii. Certificates of Live Birth are generated by the hospitals and attending doctors.
Obama either does not have a Certificate of Live Birth from Hawaii, or he does not want us to see it because it will prove to be an embarrassment. Regardless, this is not the main issue. The main issue is the fact that he is not, as required by the Constitution, a Natural Born Citizen of the United States because his father was not born in the United States if we are to believe his father is Barrack Obama Sr. who was born in Kenya as Obama Jr. has verified. Other issues cloud this main issue such as his adoption by Soetoro making him a legal citizen of Indonesia and the fact that his Social Security number was either fraudulently obtained or one assigned by the IRS to a foreign national to pay his taxes. Why are you denying these facts?
When Rove published his latest book and stated that Obama’s father was an immigrant to the US it was obvious that Rove was not truthful to his reader and assumed we would never realize this blatant lie!!!!

Elmo, the Good Book doesn’t say 2012 necessarily, as we are not to know the hour or the moment; in Matt 13:39 & 40 Jesus Christ in His own words, states that it will be at the end of this world, (meaning world age), and as is described with great specificity in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. If Trump runs will he take Obama’s lack of Constitutional eligibility to the Obama Supreme Court just to see if, as a viable presidential candidate, if he too will be told he does not have “standing” to challenge Barry’s ineligibility?

This evening, Fox news business channel had Joseph Farah talking about the BC and NBC issue; he also talked about the new book coming out written by Corsi ” Where is the Birth Certificate”.
I have noticed that anyone who gets a paycheck from Fox News was anti-birther.
I believe that it must be company policy. Also the argrument about there being
more important issues than the birther issue is so weak. How much time does it
take to say — “show us the birth certificate?” I believe that leaves about 23 hours 59
minutes and 58 seconds in any day to seek remedies in other areas of concern.

Rove is not correct; the phrase “…or a Citizen at the time of the adoption of this constitution…” refers to persons back in 1786 when the constitution of the United States was put in place, that any citizen AT THAT TIME could be President. All of those brave men and women have since died, rendering that portion of the clause invalid for all time.
The criteria of that clause is now and ONLY, “Natural Born Citizen”, both parentS must be citizens.

I dare say that Karl Rove is more concerned about his perceived status as a FOX News pundit. It is beneath his Country Club Republican dignity to place at # 1 status the whole issue of Obama’s ineligibility, to hold the office of US president. Why? Because he considers “birthers,” a nagging and unnecessary distraction to the “bigger fish to fry” (challenge) priorities of this nation.
But, I ask: “What could be a “bigger fish to fry” priority, than to “trump” the issue of Obama’s illegal unconstitutional (non natural birth status) of his [usurpation] assumption to the American presidency?”
The [false / unreasonable] line of reasoning of anti-birthers, is, as follows:
“There are bigger fish to fry!”
To that, weak kneed assertion, I take, great exception – and hope that the following, will help to debunk this weak flaccid argument:
The “greatest fish to fry” at this moment, in America, is to “fry” Obama! I pose the following question: “What is the one aim of the 2012 election for the Republican Party?” Of course, we conservatives, [including, the Beck and Levin birther bashers] would have to agree that the defeat of Obama for a second term would have to be priority # 1.
Now, (logically), what is the best way to accomplish the defeat of Obama? “Birthers” want to see Obama [politically] frying. The whole eligibility issue of his non natural birth status can not only politically scale him and fillet him, but it can also complete the necessary process of frying him – if not now, in the legal world, at least, in the world of public opinion! [Have you ever caught perch or bluegill and carried out those [messy] “cleaning details,” in order enjoy a nicely fried fish meal? It takes a little work, but it is well worthwhile!]
In like manner, anti-birthers will contend that its too much work, to catch, scale, fillet and fry Obama. They will argue that there is the debt, deficit, illegal immigration, social challenges, terrorism and overseas wars that are the “bigger fish” to fry. But, what bigger fish to fry than Obama, in 2011? If birthers and other patriotic conservative Americans don’t initiate the “catching, scaling, filleting and the completing process of “frying” Obama now – he might still be around for a second vexing term, only to continually make it impossible to fry all the “bigger” fish that our country needs to fry!
Do you really think that with Obama in office, as Fraud-in-Chief, that the “bigger fish to fry” will ever be fried, with him exercising the all important 3rd branch of American government? Democrats were granted their wish, witnessing Republican President, Nixon go down in disgrace. Republicans, Conservatives, Independents and Birthers can have their wish of Obama being fried in disgrace if only more Americans would wake up to his menacing and destructive anti-American phony “presidency!”

Another excellent article and letter, concise, accurate, and to the point like a laser. The house of cards is trembling more and more each day. The fact that faux news allowed the powerhouse intellectual Dr. Allen Keyes to speak freely and uninterrupted about the NBC issue…a subject they have avoided like the plague for the past three years, proves they are in full-on damage control mode. The momentum is definitely shifting and now is the time to keep the pressure on, and to be cautious, because a diseased animal is most dangerous when cornered.

It was very refreshing to see Alan Keyes and Joseph Farah being interviewed by David Asman on Fox. Both gentleman were calm, rational, and articulate and were able to present the most important issue – natural born Citizenship and Obama’s father being a foreign citizen. It is curious that these two were allowed to speak without being shouted down. It’s quite a change. I wonder what’s really going on behind the scenes at Fox. Perhaps they realize their core viewership is about to vanish with their previous treatment of the eligibility issue.
Now, they also need someone to show the Obama Selective Service registration form and computer printout along with the Social Security Administration validation printout with a calm, rational, and articulate presentation of the SSN identity theft issue that Obama is guilty of.

Sissy, I live in Louisiana and I emailed Jindal 4 times to get him to support legislation to require proof that a person is eligible to be president before their name could get on the ballot in this state. While he was slow to come around, he has now publicly stated that if the La. leg. passes it in this state that he will sign it. He knows he’s not eligible. Rubio knows he’s not eligible either.

Natural Citizen – Citizenship acquired by nature.
Statutory Citizen – Citizenship acquired by law.
Born in country and both parents citizens – natural.
All other citizenship – statutory (14th Amendment, USC Title 8, etc).
