NEGOTIATE? COOPERATE? CAPITULATE?

by Ron Ewart, ©2011

(Jan. 8, 2010) — Are you kidding?  For God’s sake, my fellow Americans, that’s how we got here.  Don’t you get it?  Sure!  While we negotiated, they regulated!  While we cooperated, they indoctrinated!  While we capitulated, they propagated.

When they were in power, which has been for way too long, they did whatever they pleased, in disdain of the constitutional limits placed upon them.  When we were in power they cried for bipartisanship.   If we took actions to save the country from bankruptcy, they called us baby killers, child “starvers” and abject racists.  If we said some of our institutions and unfunded liabilities would send us headlong into bankruptcy, they said we were crazy.  If we challenged their policies, they called us uneducated, irrational and radical.

For over 100 years they have inched us closer and closer to an Absolute Democrat Monarchy.   They were able to achieve it by our side negotiating, cooperating, capitulating and even worse, appeasing.  In that 100 years they bought off huge segments of the American people with “free” gifts from the public treasury (our money) and made those segments weak, dependent on government and loyal voters of the “gift” providers, or all-powerful, like big business, big banks and big unions.  As each decade went by and we negotiated, cooperated and capitulated, they took our freedom and stomped on it.  They took our liberty and called it nonsense.  They shredded our constitution and called it meaningless.  They robbed us of our wealth and called it compassion.  They diluted our sovereignty and called it necessary to the One World Order.

Our side has followed the failed policies of England’s Neville Chamberlain that delayed taking on one of the greatest bullies of history, Hitler and the Third Reich.  That delay caused millions more people to needlessly die.  Our delay in not taking on the other side in a more forceful fashion may have just resulted in the end of freedom in America as we know it.  We have been regulated and indoctrinated to death and our public treasury squandered on irrational compassion, waste, fraud, abuse and corruption.  Our actions, or inactions, as the case may be, have allowed our freedom train to build up so much speed, it has no other future than to end in a horrendous crash on a sharp curve, or at the end of the line.  The crash is just around the next bend in the tracks.

In the first-ever hydrogen balloon ride across the English Channel on June 4th, 1783, the gondola riders had to start unloading items into the sea.  It seems that their balloon was leaking hydrogen fast and they were in danger of sinking into the channel before they reached the shores of the European Continent.  They had to start dumping every non-essential item overboard.  They even took off their pants and threw those overboard as well.  When they arrived in France, the greeters were a little taken back by the lack of attire displayed by these lighter-than-air adventurers.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, we are perched on a violently tossing gondola, under an unstable air balloon, and the hot air is leaking from that which holds us aloft.  The leak is growing by the day. We either start unloading our excess baggage from the gondola, or we will descend into the ocean and drown.  It may even come down to dumping our pants and shirts overboard if we are to prevent ditching into the unforgiving briny deep of bankruptcy, chaos and anarchy.

But rather than decreasing the weight of the gondola, we submit that a better strategy would be to determine why the balloon is leaking in the first place and plug the leak, before we start dumping everything overboard – you know, like our freedom, liberty and sovereignty.

How to plug the leak is simple.  How to implement the plug is problematic.  It seems that our once-great Republic is now occupied by weak, dependent and loyal, voting subjects of the Absolute Democrat Monarchy and won’t bite the hand that feeds them.  While we negotiated, cooperated and capitulated with the other side for the last 100 years, they were busy regulating, indoctrinating and propagating their failed ideology and convinced millions of naive individuals, who forgot that freedom comes at a price, that the “light,” the “way” and the “path” are that of a powerful, centralized, nanny government.  They opted for security rather than liberty.  They opted for a free handout instead of the harder path of self-reliance, responsibility and independence.  Many of those Americans salivated at the chance to get something for free, their pride and honor evaporating in the false glory of a government-sponsored gold rush.

If a free and prosperous nation is to survive long into the future, here are the facts.  Any government policy that makes individual Americans weak and dependent is wrong!  Any government policy that weakens our defense capability is wrong!  Any government policy that presents a posture of appeasement to the rest of the world is wrong!  Any government policy that authorizes or advances an apology for America’s mistakes is wrong!  Any government policy that increases federal power over the power and rights of the states and the people is wrong!  Any federal government policy that exceeds the enumerated powers contained in the U. S. Constitution is wrong!  Any government policy, or ratified treaty that dilutes, decreases or eradicates American sovereignty or is in conflict with the U. S. Constitution is wrong! Any government policy that brainwashes and indoctrinates our school and college-age children into the ways of liberalism, socialism, multi-culturalism and collectivism is wrong!   Any government policy that openly refuses to, or inadequately protects our borders, is wrong!  Any government policy that rewards illegal aliens (law breakers) with amnesty is wrong!  Any government policy that allows environmental protection to override Constitutional 5th Amendment property right safeguards is wrong!

Each government policy we have outlined in the last paragraph is the policy of the current administration, way too many past presidents and way too many past congresses, including the previous congress and maybe even the current one.  When will we finally yell from the rooftops and once and for all tell the multitudes that the policies of the other side have been wrong…all wrong?  Do we shy away from the truth?  Do we avoid a fight because it is distasteful?  Have we become cowards in the defense of liberty?

So it must be evident to those who have eyes to see, that it is way past time for negotiating, cooperating and capitulating.  That has gotten us to where it always does…nowhere, or worse, less free!  We either unravel what has been unconstitutionally institutionalized over the last 100 years and do it with the force and vehemence of righteousness, or face the end of our failed experiment with liberty.  If our side does not now take the actions to plug the leak in our sinking balloon, we will be forced to throw everything overboard, in the hope that we won’t crash into the sea, but crash we will nevertheless.  What we may have to throw overboard could very well be our own freedom.

We say, either it’s freedom, or it’s war.  Not a shooting war, but a war between vastly different ideologies, where one of them is more right than the other and in keeping with the tenets of American freedom and liberty.  If we have any hope of surviving as a free nation, there is only one choice to make:  individual freedom.  The only other choice is collective enslavement, a condition brought on by too much negotiating, cooperating and capitulating to the other side.

Rest assured that no matter how the reader may construe our message, it is our firm wish that we can restore individual freedom and reclaim our Constitutional Republic by peaceful means.  To realize that wish, tens of millions of Americans will have to stand up and be counted, for liberty, or a shooting war or unconditional capitulation may be the only two alternatives left to us.

  1. Civil disobedience. We have the power if we’ll just use it! We created this beast, we feed this beast, we need to starve the beast until it’s too weak to survive.

    Velvet Revolution American Style:

National strike — no work, no shopping, no travel, no spending money or feeding the economy in any way, shape or form.

Close down state capitols, airports, etc. with massive demonstrations. Make commerce and business as usual impossible.

Stop paying taxes — increase dependents to 215 (Article 2, section 1, paragraph 5)

Buy used — at thrift stores, on Craigslist, yard sales, etc. (no sales taxes)

Stop banking with the banksters — find a local bank or credit union.

Pay off credit cards — stop feeding the beast.

Carpool, use public transportation — anything to stop paying outrageous gas taxes.

Boycott flying — Make the airlines defend their passengers.

Plant a garden — Probably the best thing we could all do for our own health and get all the pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and GMO foods out of our diet.

Take your vitiamins — whole-food based vitamins that give real nutrition (not the crap vitamins put out by One-A-Day and the like that just pump inorganic minerals and such into your body). Especially Vit D (in oil) and C — best way to both avoid and treat any kind of flu.

Make flyers to hand out and/or posters to plant around town. Educate people:
“NBC = 2 Citizen Parents — OBAMA FAIL!” or “NBC = 2 Citizen Parents… Hey Obama, who’s your daddy?”

We can do this. Yes, it will require sacrifice on everyone’s part… but not the blood sacrifice of civil war. Violence should ALWAYS be the last resort… and ONLY for defensive purposes.

    1. > National strike

If enough people were ready to make something like that happen, the usurper would be ousted already. The sad thing is, the majority is still uneducated and silent.

      1. I fear you are right… but I don’t want to believe it yet. If I believe that, then what hope is there? If we can’t do this much, we sure can’t handle a real revolution. And no one is going to do it for us. Maybe we’re just not ready YET…

    2. Ever hear the saying “The best defense is a good offense”? I would remind you that your statement “Violence should ALWAYS be the last resort…and ONLY for defensive purposes” is just about the dumbest statement that I’ve ever read.
Okay, you never went to West Point, or V.M.I., and you’ve never actually been in combat because, if you were, you would know enough to not to have written what you wrote. Oh, it sounds good, heck, it even looks good on paper, but in the real world? No dice, never happen.
Look, the horses have already been let out of the barn, heck, they’re somewhere in the South Forty. Don’t you people get it? They are this close away from taking you out and shooting you, or slitting your throat, right at the curb in front of your house in broad daylight and you suggest we take our vitamins.
My suggestion is to do unto others BEFORE they would do unto you. The time is very close to where you are going to go out and do what needs to be done to get the job done, or you’re going to weed your garden and watch your world burn. Yes, you may get killed but it’s far better to go down fighting than to be marched into the showers.
This is my third re-write of this little note. It has been toned down so much that it’s ALMOST worthless. Use your imagination on who the enemy is, besides ignorance. Has your local television and radio stations been reporting the truth, or have they said that Birth Certificate has been seen and everything is okay? Have they even mentioned Obama’s thirty-nine (that we know of) illegal Social Security numbers? Do they support the Gound Zero Mosque? Do they keep quiet about the T.S.A.? And what about you local police force? Would they follow illegal orders from the White House? And if someone knocked on your door and demanded that you give them your guns, what would you do?

  2. I seriously doubt the peaceful means of recovery is available. War is a must! Why? Because the only way for things to change is if there is an ability to enforce it. Without that ability, they will do whatever is convenient for them, e.g.: unconstitutional President, Healthcare Bill, Borrow $700B, Bailouts, and on and on… I could cite well over a dozen violations of the Constitution and against the majority will of the people in the past 12 months, let alone the past 100 yrs. Think Pres. Kennedy and Executive Order 11110. You see, where is the enforcement arm of the People?? …without it, so what, who cares what the people say, what will the people do about it. IF THERE WERE ANOTHER WAY, OUR FOREFATHERS WOULD HAVE FOUND IT. If you knew the real powers that govern America, you would demand war.

    1. Gino DiSimone makes a very important point about Executive Order 11110. For those that are not familiar with this executive order here is some information found at: http://www.apfn.net/Doc-100_bankruptcy31.htm
It is a lot to read, but something that everyone should read. I would encourage you to read the below and visit the above site for details about this executive order.

      Document 100.1.3.2.0 31 of 39……..
“The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to
destroy the Americans freedom and before I leave office I must inform the
Citizen of his plight.” PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY(10 days before he was
      murdered)

On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order
11110, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Federal Reserve
Bank of its power to loan money to the United States Federal Government at
interest. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the
privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business. The
Christian Common Law Institute has exhaustively researched this matter
through the Federal Register and Library of Congress and can now safely
conclude that this Executive Order has never been repealed, amended, or
superceded by any subsequent Executive Order. In simple terms, it is still
      valid.
When President John Fitzgerald Kennedy – the author of Profiles in
Courage -signed this Order, it returned to the federal government,
specifically the Treasury Department, the Constitutional power to create and
issue currency -money – without going through the privately owned Federal
      Reserve Bank.
President Kennedy’s Executive Order 11110 [the full text is displayed
further below] gave the Treasury Department the explicit authority:
“to issue silver certificates against any silver bullion, silver, or
standard silver dollars in the Treasury.”
This means that for every ounce of silver in the U.S. Treasury’s vault, the
government could introduce new money into circulation based on the silver
bullion physically held there. As a result, more than $4 billion in United
States Notes were brought into circulation in $2 and $5 denominations. $10
and $20 United States Notes were never circulated but were being printed by
the Treasury Department when Kennedy was assassinated. It appears obvious
that President Kennedy knew the Federal Reserve Notes being used as the
purported legal currency were contrary to the Constitution of the United
States of America. “United States Notes” were issued as an interest-free and
debt-free currency backed by silver reserves in the U.S. Treasury.
In the illustrations below, a “Federal Reserve Note” issued from the
private central bank of the United States (the Federal Reserve Bank a/k/a
Federal Reserve System), is compared with a “United States Note” from the
U.S. Treasury issued by President Kennedy’s Executive Order. They almost
look alike, except one says “Federal Reserve Note” on the top while the
other says “United States Note”. Also, the Federal Reserve Note has a green
seal and serial number while the United States Note has a red seal and
      serial number.
President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 and the United
States Notes he had issued were immediately taken out of circulation.
Federal Reserve Notes continued to serve as the legal currency of the
nation. According to the United States Secret Service, 99% of all U.S. paper
“currency” circulating in 1999 are Federal Reserve Notes.
Kennedy knew that if the silver-backed United States Notes were widely
circulated, they would have eliminated the demand for Federal Reserve Notes.
This is a very simple matter of economics. The USN was backed by silver and
the FRN was not backed by anything of intrinsic value. Executive Order 11110
should have prevented the national debt from reaching its current level
(virtually all of the nearly $9 trillion in federal debt has been created
since 1963) if LBJ or any subsequent President were to enforce it. It would
have almost immediately given the U.S. Government the ability to repay its
debt without going to the private Federal Reserve Banks and being charged
interest to create new “money”. Executive Order 11110 gave the U.S.A. the
ability to, once again, create its own money backed by silver and real value
      worth something.
Again, just five months after Kennedy was assassinated, no more of the
Series 1958 “Silver Certificates” were issued either, and they were
      subsequently removed from circulation.
Perhaps the assassination of JFK was a warning to all future
presidents not to interfere with the private Federal Reserve’s control over
the creation of money. It seems very apparent that President Kennedy
challenged the “powers that exist behind U.S. and world finance”. With true
patriotic courage, JFK boldly faced the two most successful vehicles that
have ever been used to drive up debt: 1) war (Vietnam); and, 2) the creation
of money by a privately owned central bank. His efforts to have all U.S.
troops out of Vietnam by 1965 combined with Executive Order 11110 would have
destroyed the profits and control of the private Federal Reserve Bank.

  3. The words of Patrick Henry ring hollow to the ears of the sheeple, ignorant of history, who have been enslaved without even realizing it.

  4. We is We The People. As in all of us that still believe in the Constitution/Bill of Rights. Unfortunately not too many seem to know what that is/means. Far fewer who will also stand up and defend said Const./BoR’s. What’s really sad is those in Law Enforcement etc. and Military who stand idle or help trample those rights. Our freedoms were robbed by the so called “Patriot Act” which seemed already made up for 911. (Not to mention the list of other egregious “Acts”) Lets see mobile guard towers,TSA molesting of kids,old/crippled people, women…yeah that’s for stopping Muslim Terrorists. While we have open borders. I’ve got news for You. You are the terrorist. Everyone reading this. Quite frankly, if you haven’t figured that out yet….well, it is said that ignorance is bliss.

  5. Doesn’t Glenn Beck say it’s time to think outside of the box? I in my opinion think what he really means is to think outside the ballot box! After all it’s the ballot box that has gotten us into this situation and it’s going to take a new tactic other than the ballot box to get us out of this situation! But don’t worry after more than two years of this unConstitutional nonsense without any signs of advancement towards Constitutional Justice in sight….NOTHING WILL CHANGE! WE THE PEOPLE have surrendered to an unknown enemy of the state that has control of our corrupt government officials and the main stream media including Bill O’Reilly and friends! It’s been over two years now and there is not a single American Soul that truly cares. All past efforts were focused on a stupid birth certificate and nothing at all about Obama not being a legal president because of his non citizen father! One has to wonder? We are all now slaves without a voice. Constitutional Law in America has been abandoned. Our corrupt government under the guidance of some evil entity does what it pleases and no longer works for the people although they will tell you otherwise just to appease you and entertain you. Until I witness some concrete movement from the people to enforce THE JEFFERSON PRINCIPLE and to bring down these political criminals there is no other alternative but to think this way! It would be nice if someone were to prove me wrong but I don’t think so! The Founding Fathers gave us a tool in the 1st Amendment and after the passing of two years not one person with the legal means to do so has yet to actually pick up that tool and make a serious attempt to use that tool! If you want to take this country back from the thieves who stole it from us then there must be an attempt to file a nationwide CLASS ACTION PETITION FOR THE REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES and if that can’t be done, then like I said earlier…..WE HAVE ALL SURRENDERED TO THE ENEMY! It’s just a whole lot easier to forfeit the freedom that our Founding Fathers gave to us these days than to mobilize and organize to fight this evil to the point of winning!

    1. Yes! I have been thinking about a class-action suit on obama’s ineligibility for a long time and even had written one of the attorneys who had filed numerous petitions of grievances against the government, but never to my knowledge, did he file a class-action suit. He never even bothered to respond to my e-mail. If there is an attorney (or law firm) out there who would take this on pro bono and believes a class-action suit could actually be adjudicated, then I would help in any way possible. We would need to set up a fund to help with legal expenses and I would help to do that or help research or whatever else I could do.

      How about it? Any takers?

  6. Ron, I only see YOUR name at the top of this editorial – not a petition list.
Who is the “WE” that says “either it’s freedom, or it’s war”?
I’m just curious as to who thinks you could prevail in a war against a government that would have no problem using drones and other forms of hi-tech warfare against you. This has to be done politically, at the ballot box. War is NOT the way (unless you get the Joint chiefs and the Military on YOUR side – you have no chance).
Please tell me who the “We” is.

    ELmo

    1. Dear ELmo:

You know who I am, but you hide behind a shadow monicer. We also read your same response to our last article. We don’t have to identify who the “we” is, because all clear, logical and reasonable thinking people know very well who the “we” is. And further, had you read the entire article, you would have read that we are not advocating a shooting war to win our freedom. We are advocating all peaceful means. But the only way that will happen is if tens of millions of Americans rise to the ocassion. We have no idea where you stand. Perhaps you will write an article and we will have a better idea.

Nor do we, in any way, advocate or applaud what happened in Tucson, AZ today with the shooting of 19 people, including Rep. Gifford and the deaths of six of those 19. It was an either act of an insane person, an act of terrorism, or an act of some radical group. We will know soon enough. However, those who cherish freedom and are willing to defend it, are neither radical, or insane, nor do they have to resort to gun fire to promote their position. Even a Senator from Arizona said: “Extremism, in the defense of liberty, is no vice.”

Now, if you have any guts, perhaps you will identify yourself with a real name and location, to those that have read my article, as well as your comments.

      1. I want to point out that NO single individual on this site or anywhere else speaks for ALL unless the others are a part of the process that leads to the grand plan that you laid out in
your last editorial and again in the one above. I AM a constitutionalist and I would like Obama to reveal his documentation BUT I would never pretend to SPEAK for ALL americans or ALL who are on this site – Just an observation – regarding USER NAME – I stay anonymous for a reason – I appreciate that you have chosen not to, those are individual choices – Which is my exact point. There are many here and in America that support the Constitution but may or may not support YOUR particular solution to resolve problems in that regard. It is wrong to disenfranchise those people by including them in your solutions without their consent.
        ELmo

      2. Ron,
In re-reading your article, you are correct, I am guilty of not reading the “War” paragraph thoroughly. You have my apologies for that Sir!
        ELmo

    2. “WE THE PEOPLE” THAT’S WHO.

The saying that one must not bite the hand that feeds you doesn’t take in to account the contingency that the “hand” is feeding you poisoned food.
