BIASED NEWS REPORTS REVEAL FLAGRANT DISREGARD FOR THE RULES OF JOURNALISM

(Apr. 13, 2010) — A report from MSNBC states that unnamed “U.S. military officials” have reported that Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, an Army flight surgeon with 18 years of service, will be court-martialed for refusing to follow orders until Barack Obama proves that he is a “natural born Citizen” as required by the U.S. Constitution to serve as President and Commander-in-Chief of the military.
The report continues:
Army doctor Lt. Col. Terry Lakin believes Obama does not meet the constitutional requirements to be president and commander-in-chief, because he believes (incorrectly) that Obama wasn’t born in the United States (emphasis added).
While the article mentions that the officer who confronted Lakin, Col. Gordon Roberts, was “a Vietnam Medal of Honor recipient,” it says nothing about the myriad awards which Lakin has received, among them the Armed Forces Expedition Medal, the Bronze Star, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Combat Medical Badge.
It also provides no evidence to support its claim that Lakin’s decision to disobey orders is “incorrect.” Lakin did not base his actions on “belief,” but rather, on his desire to uphold his oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, as stated in his letter of March 31, 2010 to Obama.
The MSNBC report also labels Lt. Col. Lakin the pejorative “birther” without explaining the meaning of the term.
The Greeley Tribune a newspaper from Lakin’s hometown, reported on Lakin’s decision to disobey orders and, to its credit, listed some of Lakin’s accomplishments and awards. However, after adding a statement from Lakin’s video, it then went on to say, “He [Lakin] does not accuse Obama of illegally obtaining office in the video.”
The U.S. Constitution contains three requirements for presidential eligibility:
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
If Obama has usurped the presidency due to his failure to meet any of the three requirements as outlined in the U.S. Constitution, then he has committed a constitutional violation.
A contributor to the Letters to the Editor section of the same newspaper wrote:
…And as for Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, I hope he wins his case. No other president has ever refused to prove that he is an American. Only now do we have someone in office who is afraid of what might surface. I, too, am a decorated combat veteran and I served in Vietnam and Cambodia. I say, send Lt. Col. Lakin to Washington, maybe he can set a few of the Democratic Party proletariats straight.
Another newspaper, The Colorado Independent, did not even attempt to hide its bias in its coverage of Lakin:
Greeley Native, U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and full-fledged birther Terry Lakin is refusing to deploy to Afghanistan until he sees evidence he can believe in that Pres. Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States. Lakin released a YouTube last week speaking in familiar talk-radio terms about his doubts regarding the president’s citizenship and his legitimacy as commander in chief. Today he received a letter from his brigade commander warning that he faced court marshal [sic] and time in prison. This would be Lakin’s second deployment to Afghanistan. He is fundraising for his legal defense, he says, looking to raise $50,000 by the end of the week. His Greeley relatives are putting distance between themselves and his birther campaign.
Not only can the writer of the article not present the story fairly; he does not know the difference between “marshal” and “martial.”
TPMMuckraker has reported that “The case could become a rallying cry for Birther adherents, who are already talking up Lakin as a “martyr” for the cause.”
A Fox News report dated today was listed but blocked in a Google search by two different pop-ups and was therefore inaccessible.

The Doug Hagmann tapes came out quite a while back. He promised more, later on this, but nothing else ever came out. It’s certainly easy to believe though, because people you would most expect to be all over the ineligibility issue, Hannity, Beck, O’Reilly, Rush, Coulter, Malkin, etc., have been completely shut down. They cannot all be so dumb that they believe the “official” Obama story, so they must either be intimidated or paid off…or both.
The Colorado Independent is quoted as saying:

Familar talk-radio terms? Well I’m glad they are “familiar” to the journalist but they’re not to me. I don’t listen to talk radio. WELL whadda ya know? I must have come to the conclusion Obama is an usurper without Rush telling me that. Huh, imagine that!
The reference the newpaper was making could not have been to Rush, Hannity, Beck or O’Reilly, (does O’Reilly still have a radio show?), they don’t do Obama ineligibility. Wonder who they were talking about? I would like to listen.

Perhaps we are approaching the media issue the wrong way…the web-based enews is now the way of the present as well as the future. I think ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS et al will implode by the weight of their sins of commission and omission both. I read the other day that I think it was CNN’s revenue that was down 42% in the last three months. Let’s not look at grasshoppers and call them giants. Enews trumps what used to be the only media around. They are a dying breed. Let’s give them a burial, expect no more from them to do the right thing (they are impotent to do so), and take heart that there is a new day dawning. It’s just that in our angst over what has happened in and to our country, we may not be able to see the light breaking through right now. It is always darkest before the dawn, so let’s not lose hope. Instead, let’s man (or woman!) our computers and go on the OFFENSIVE against those traitors in the media, et al. Everyone can bring up one of the dying media’s websites and send an email to let them know we consider them as good as dead. Hey, here is an idea: we can write obituaries for them and send them to the heads of the major media organizations! They are not going to intimidate us. They just need to die a quiet death. There are no more glory days left for them, if indeed there ever were. Kick them to the curb. Lies, treachery, deceit, cover-ups all belong in the gutter anyway.
It is time to go on the offensive and engage the enemies of our Constitution and use weapons powerful to the pulling down of strongholds.

We’ve gone way past the point where congress, the media, and the courts were just covering for their man, the man they desperately wanted in office.
We’re now at the point where, if the truth is revealed, it will not only expose them as sycophantic enablers, but indictable conspirators; liars who can never, ever be trusted again, and so they will absolutely never willingly go along with any attempts to out the truth.
One of the saddest truths is that Fox news is one of the them.
Add the top military officers to your list of conspirators propping up a foreign agent as a usurper of the office of President of the United States. Like Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, they should all be demanding proof that Barack Hussein Obama II is legally the Commander In Chief before they take another order from him. Instead, they are going after Lt. Col. Lakin. They are not fulfilling their oath to defend the Constitution against a foreign enemy. When a high-ranking government official of the country of Kenya says that Barack Hussein Obama II was born in their country, they need to, at the very least, mount an investigation. I don’t fault them for waiting for a court to rule on the NBC status, but the place of birth issue is a must.

The “4th Estate” of our free republic form of government had better awaken and do its job and start seriously investigating the mounting evidence that Obama was not physically born in Hawaii but instead only had his birth fraudulently registered there by his maternal grandmother after the birth in Kenya, upon return of Obama’s mother with the baby, in order to get the newborn child U.S. citizenship which was easily done with a mail-in form using the lax laws of Hawaii in 1961. The press and media best start investigating and using their FOIA powers and resources to get to the truth for the sake of our nation and Constitution. Failure of the media to dig into this sooner has resulted in the crisis getting to the point it is at now. Failure to investigate now will only allow it to get worse. If this is not resolved in the Courts or via the light of full sunshine in the national media, the ultimate end results will be their fault. Again, are you in the media for the People or for the Corrupt political parties and their politicians!? The media must stand up and do its traditional role to seriously investigate the facts, get all of Obama’s hidden and sealed records release and in the public view for analysis and debate, and get to the truth. So help us God if they do not.

Is Lt. Col Lakin focused solely on the birth certificate and where Obama was born, or is he also aware that even if Obama was born in Hawaii, that he would still not be a natural born citizen, due to the fact of his non-US citizen father? A natural born citizen is a person born in the US and born to US citizen parents (plural). Like a naturalized citizen, Obama is ineligible to be President because he was born subject to a foreign power.
Lt. Col Lakin should be asking the following “non-birther” legitimate question of Constitutional law: How can a person who is born subject to Great Britain be a natural born citizen of the United States of America?
Obama has spent almost two million dollars to keep the country from seeing his birth certificate.
Now he’s even willing to have a decorated military doctor court martialed in order to keep his birth certificate a secret.

Lakin will never be court martialed… His orders to Afghan will be revoked and if he continues the challenge, he will discharged. Obama will never prove that he is an American.
