GRASSSFIRE NATION AND PATRIOTS ACROSS AMERICA SEND PROTEST OF NO CONFIDENCE TO SENATORS THAT OBAMACARE WILL NOT STAND

Grassfire Nation Website

(Dec. 23, 2009) — In grand grassroots style, an accomplishment on par with the 912 DC protest attended by more than 1 million US citizens, the Grassfire Nation Sponsored petition against an unconstitutional health care bill reaches its protest goal and sends a clear message:  counts coupe on Harry Reid and the Democratic controlled Senate and sponsored bill. Grassfire delivered more than 950,000 petitions to the U.S. Senate over the past week,  the remaining 50,000+ were delivered to Senate offices on Monday (12/21).

More than 1 million signed petitions where hand delivered to the DC Office of each signatories 2 Senators.

National polls indicate more than 60% of the US population dead set against what is being referred to as a democrat sponsored train wreck and constitutionally illegal action to socialize medicine and strangling regulation of health care increasingly looked upon as government intrusion in personal lives of citizens and breaching the laws that govern power of the federal government.

The Grassfire Nation Website petition carried this form statement for signers, (or the choice to go with a personal fax for a minor fee):

The Petition States:

To: President Barack Obama, Members of Congress

As a concerned citizen, I oppose any and all efforts to further expand government control over the U.S. healthcare and insurance system. Specifically, I oppose the so-called “Public Option” proposals — the “Affordable Health Choices Act” and other similar bills — which amount to government-run, socialized health care that will impose massive taxes on the American people.

Like most Americans, I prefer getting my health coverage through private insurance rather than the federal government. That’s because government healthcare always results in higher costs and rationing. I do not want politicians and bureaucrats dictating the health care and insurance decisions of myself and my employer. Especially in these difficult economic times, I flatly reject any new government healthcare plan that imposes new taxes or burdens on individuals or businesses.
