Rep. Duncan D. Hunter began serving in Congress in 1981. He is a Vietnam combat veteran and advocates a strong defense of the U.S.-Mexico border. In 2005, Hunter sponsored the Secure Fence Act, which passed but was never fully funded by Congress.
