A natural born US citizen would NOT have to denounce his Canadian citizenship.
How old was his mother when he was born? If she was under 19, she could not pass her US citizenship on to Cruz Jr.
Cruz’s dad was on the wrong side and fought for and with Castro who utterly destroyed Cuba and it’s vibrant economy. I do know however from past history that part of that economy was very corrupt. Not far from our current administration really.
