“A SHROUD OF SECRECY”

by Sharon Rondeau, h/t BirtherReport

Dr. Ben Carson is the author of several books and former head of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, MD

(May 29, 2014) — In a radio interview with progressive radio host Alan Colmes, renowned neurosurgeon and possible presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson stated that while he “accepts” that Obama was born in the United States, he has questions about the documents Obama has not released, specifically, his college applications.

Colmes is host of “The Alan Colmes Show” on Fox News Radio and operates the “Liberaland” blog, which contains adult material and strong language.

Colmes asked Carson if “racism” and “soft bigotry” were at the root of those who suspect that Obama’s public life story is not accurate, including claims that Obama was born in Kenya and is a Muslim, not a Christian. “I would say that the best way to put that to rest is to expose everything, including your academic records,” Carson responded.

Carson said that while he does not doubt that Obama was born in the United States, he has questions as to “where he [Obama] applied to Columbia…from where were you applying?”

Obama’s life narrative states that he attended Occidental College in California for two years, transferring to Columbia University for his junior year.

Columbia is considered a very competitive university, and many have wondered how Obama gained entrance with reportedly poor grades at Occidental.

Columbia graduate, writer and political activist Wayne Allyn Root has been vocal in expressing doubts that Obama ever attended Columbia.  An article quoting Root published at Fox News has been removed, but Root wrote in August 2012 that “If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political Science majors. But not Obama (or as he was known then- Barry Soetoro). I never met him. Never saw him. Never even heard of him. And none of the classmates that I knew at Columbia has ever met him, saw him, or heard of him.”

Speaking at the National Press Club on Tuesday, Donald Trump refreshed the public’s memory of his demand that Obama release his long-form birth certificate in early 2011 as he considered a presidential run himself.  Trump had also challenged Obama to release his college and passport applications just before the 2012 election by offering two donations to be given to charity if Obama accepted the proposal:  $5,000,000, and later, $50,000,000.  Obama never responded.

Trump acknowledged that there remain questions about the “authenticity” of the image posted on the White House website following his public demands for its release but focused his remarks on his theory of three possible explanations for why Obama’s literary agent wrote that he was “born in Kenya” in 1991, a statement which remained intact until April 21, 2007.

Colmes countered that even though Obama released “both versions of a birth certificate,” referring to the short- and long-form images posted on the internet, some Americans still do not believe he was born in the country.  Colmes asked Carson if that were caused by racism.  “No white person has ever been asked to produce a birth certificate,” Colmes added, to which Carson replied, “Is there anybody else who had a shroud of secrecy around their records like this?”

Carson urged Colmes to be “totally reasonable” in weighing whether or not people’s questions about Obama’s background are valid.

To Colmes’s pressing about whether or not Carson believes Obama “was born in the United States,” Carson replied, “I do have questions about where he applied from when he applied to Columbia.”

But do you have any question about whether he was born in the United States?…You know that he was born in Hawaii?” Colmes insisted, to which Carson responded, “I accept that that’s the case.”

Both of Obama’s “birth certificates” have been declared forgeries.  The Maricopa County Cold Case Posse launched a criminal investigation after an initial analysis showed that the long-form birth certificate image could not have been produced from an original paper document.

In December, a source close to the investigation produced a video which stated that “prosecutions are coming” and concluded with five men in gray suits and faces in shadow standing behind jail bars, one of them obviously Obama, wearing circular tags identifying them respectively as “HDOH,” “USPS,” “Obots,” and “SSS.”

“Be objective:  you have somebody whose name is ‘Barack Hussein Obama.’  There’s secrecy about some of his records.  There’s something that’s been written in the past which I’m sure you’re familiar with that says he was born somewhere else…there is reason that some people might be suspicious…I’m not one of them,” Carson said to Colmes.

Colmes reiterated that he believes racism is behind the questions about Obama’s origins and background.

On May 23, Holmes interviewed Atty. Larry Klayman, who has challenged Obama’s legitimacy at the Alabama Supreme Court and emphatically told Colmes that Obama’s birth certificate is fraudulent.  Klayman indicated that he believes that evidence points to Obama’s birth in Kenya.

On the same day, Mike Zullo was a guest on “Freedom Friday” with Carl Gallups revealing new information on the Maricopa County Cold Case Posse’s criminal investigation and the second investigation conducted by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio whose findings have yet to be revealed.  Gallups had invited Arpaio, who was engaged in an interview at the same time with Fox News’s Neil Cavuto during which he alluded to the criminal investigation he has been conducting stemming from that of the Cold Case Posse.

On Tuesday, Carson had tweeted the question as to whether or not a doctor could be president, to which The Post & Email responded, “As long as you’re a natural born Citizen, unlike Obama!”

Obama claims to have a Kenyan-citizen father, which, using the same analysis of recent news reports about children born in a foreign country to a U.S.-citizen father, would make Obama a Kenyan citizen.

Article II of the U.S. Constitution requires the president to be a “natural born Citizen,” which some believe means “born in the U.S. to two citizen parents” in order to preclude any foreign influence or allegiance.  However, “natural born Citizen” is generally understood by average Americans to mean that the person was simply born in the United States.

When the Framers included the term in the Constitution, they differentiated between “a Citizen” and “natural born Citizen.”

On Thursday morning, Mike Volin of WheresObamasBirthCertificate.com was a guest for 45 minutes on the Peter Boyles Show to discuss Trump’s remarks on Tuesday.  Volin confirmed that members of his team had sent Trump a “Sheriff’s Kit” containing the evidence compiled by the Cold Case Posse confirming that Obama’s long-form birth certificate and Selective Service registration form are “computer-generated forgeries.”

Volin stated unequivocally that “Barack Obama Sr.” is not Obama’s biological father and that Rep. Nancy Pelosi played a part in placing a candidate on the national ballot who she knew had put forth a false narrative to the public.

For six years, the major media refused to allow discussion of Obama’s background, lack of documentation, and unexplained portions of his life.  On the internet, anyone questioning Obama’s background, policies, motives, or veracity has been harassed, labeled a “racist,” threatened, or been victimized financially.

In an interview earlier this month with The Right Side’s Chris Pareja, Arpaio said, in regard to the Obama “birth certificate investigation,” “I have the evidence.  I’m trying to find out who’s behind it now…”

Arpaio briefly explained why the Cold Case Posse investigation began to investigate the matter.  “I am looking at a forged, fraudulent document by the government in Hawaii…This is a felony…I’m locking up people every day with fake documents that are here illegally.  Don’t be fooled by…It’s over.”

Trump wrote a congratulatory note to Arpaio following the posse’s first press conference announcing the forgeries on March 1, 2012.  The two men happen to share the same birthday of June 14, 14 years apart.

  1. Has anyone sent Dr. Carson a Sheriff’s Kit? I seriously doubt he would believe and continue to state Obama was born in the USA if he had the opportunity to see all that evidence. However, if he ignores it…well, you can decide how you would feel about that!
